The hotel is located inside the old city of Riquewihr and has private parking that is a big benefit. The hotel building is very old and beautiful but at hotel rooms are small. The city Riquewihr is amazing.

Position. Riquewihr is definitely a must see on the Alsace trail. Thehotel is inside the town walls and although the area is pedestrianised,it is possible to drive into the hotel’s large carpark (3 euros a day). For such a small hotel with typically French (basic) rooms (even thoughwe had booked a superior room it was still a bit sparsely furnished!),it redeemed itself with the staff and the excellent continentalbreakfast.

I stayed at Hotel de la Couronne last year. We normally stay in Logis whilst touring France but a friend organisedthis hotel last year. So thanks to my friend Paul we found Hotel de laCouronne. I would not normally have found such a hotel as I mentioned wenormally stay in Logis but I am so glad that we did. It really is the perfect hotel.

The room was spacious, compared to other French hotels we stayed at. The hotel also had a swimming pool and adequate parking onsite. We stayed four days, and it was a good choice for a stay of that length. We especially liked the fact that the hotel was just outside the city wall, since that made our stay more restful, and the view of vineyards was appealing.

This was an excellent hotel, in a great position on the edge of Riquewihr. No restaurant at hotel but two minute walk into town where there was a wide choice of food. Large private car park. The staff were welcoming friendly and attentive.

This is a beautifully located Hotel with charming and friendly staff, just a few metres away from the medieval village of Ricquevir. We were passing through the area and made an overnight stop which was extremely pleasant. Best of all, the room overlooked the village and surrounding vineyards and we awoke to a beautiful vista.

We loved Nora Sester and Didier in the tavern....the rooms were lovely,the decor, beautiful. The extra attention (I.E. laundry) was muchappreciated. Although I had previously read reviews about a lack ofEnglish spoken in the hotel, I found Nora to be very helpful. No one atthe hotel made me feel badly about my minimal French skills. The town of Riquewihr is a magical place. Excellent restaurants...Le Sarment D'Or....****. We ventured by car to several locations..the Vosges to the west, the linen shop in Muttersholtz, the Maginal Line, Eguisheim, Ribeauville, and Soufflenheim for lovely pottery. Lastly...Maurice the cat drinking from the fishbowl made for an excellent video. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation.

We were looked after particularly well by all members of staff andspecifically by the senipor members . They made us feel very much athome and were very helpful with questions over dining outside andgeneral directions around the locality .The Hotel was ideal forexploring Riquevihr and the neighbourhood .Car Parking was ideal in arestricted village .

Located in the heart of the old, walled city of Riquewihr, it's the perfect spot for seeing living history, taking a stroll through the vineyards, or shopping and dining in some fabulous restaurants. The town is so quaint and the hotel staff is most helpful with dinner reservations and telling the traveler about points of interest.

Charming little inn, perfect location in a beautiful village, lovely staff. I have stayed there 5-6 times prior. It’s really quite perfect for exploring Riquewihr and the nearby wine villages of Alsace.

The hotel was right in the heart of Riquewihr, a wonderful Alsatian village. The old building had lots of charm and character, and the inn keeper was very helpful and friendly.
