The hotel staff was helpful but if try to speak a little french they even tried to be more helpful. 15 pp per night euros if not changed. If I am not wrong the main entrance is open 24 hrs. I am fussy student who didn’t want to stay in a youth hostel so I would recommend that to the others who are like me.

A very well-placed hotel to explore Rennes and area because it is nottoo noisy as in the centre of the city but you can quickly reach thecentre with a bus service. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. Recommended for the price especially.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and made good local restaurant suggestions. The hotel is very nice, not deluxe but certainly a solid choice from my experience there. The hotel is quite central, convenient to everything. For the rate I received from this site, I would definitely recommend it.

Firstly, the location is good, the hotel is just infront of the railway station and very close to the buses. Secondly, the staff are very friendly. The guy I spoke to even speaks russian! He was also very helpful and well informed about the city. Thirdly, it was a pleasant surprise to find such a freshly decorated and good-looking bathroom in an unexpensive hotel:).

Friendly and helpful staff. My sister and I were moved into 2 double rooms at no extra cost when our twin room had a plumbing problem. Hotel is directly opposite the bus and train station in Rennes and a short walk from the old area of the city. We travelled to Mt St Michell by bus and St Malo by train from Rennes.

This is a great location for a Hotel. Its right opposite the Train Station and also opposite the Metro where you can travel to the old town. The hotel is clean and the reception staff all speak English and are very helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

Incredibly friendly staff. We used Rennes as a base to visit Mont St Michel. On the small side, but one of the cleanest hotel rooms I think I’ve ever seen - and included free coffee, tea, water boiler and hair dryer. The best value for my money in a long, long time.

We were only in Rennes for 1 night so for us this hotel was ideally located next to the central train station and a good selection of bars and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a nice LCD tv. The free wi-fi was also handy. Overall, it was an excellent value for money hotel.

Very good for the price. The hotel is only a few steps from the station(and also the bus stop to get to Mont St Michel). The only hotel at thisprice that offers tea/coffee facilities and air conditioner.

Our room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean andwith a good shower, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was ofexcellent quality. Though not large, our room was no smaller thanexpected for one in this category of hotel. The hotel is in the centreof Rennes and there is a metro station a few metres away that links withthe train station. Overall the hotel is excellent value for money. If wevisit Rennes again we would be happy to return to Hotel De Nemours.

We were delighted with everything at Hotel Nemours. The room wasexcellent for the price, then staff friendly and helpful and thebreakfast was a very good one. The hotel is central and the nearbypublic car park, once we managed to find it! Was just round the corner. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We liked the hotel very much. Unlike many other hotels the yard is very big and quiet - you can sleep with open window and will not hear others. Parking is perfect - private and just next door from the hotel. Breakfast was also very nice.

The room is very clear with small corner of ketchen. The personal of the hotel is verynice. Location is 8 minutes from the metrostation "Saint Anne". If you take the metro from the Gare of Rennes, youneed around 15-20 minutes to arrive in the hotel.

My daughter is residing at the Rennes University for the next 3 monthsand we came to help her settle in to Rennes and France. We found Rennesto be a picturesque and lively city with lovely cafe’s, bars and shops. The hotel was very secure, clean and well located.

The owner/manager (and wife) lives on site and is extremely helpful,walking with my husband back to our car (a few blocks away) to take himto the parking garage, and helped carry luggage up to our room. This ismore like a b&b than a hotel. Our room was lovely with a modern bathroom(with a shower). A hot water pot with tea/coffee is in the room, andalso a hair dryer. There's even wi-fi. You tell them what time you wantbreakfast, and it is specially prepared for you and served in the greatroom. Wine and beer is in that room's fridge and available for purchase.This hotel is in the heart of the historic downtown, within easy walkingdistance of many restaurants. Because of its size, I would recommendthis place to solo travelers or couples. We loved staying there.

Our main reason for choosing to stay at Symphonie des Sens was it's character. When we arrived the building and room far exceeded our expectations, the decoration is immaculate and very luxurious. The sheets given to us for the baby's cot were so pretty we didn't use them for fear of leaking nappies! There is also a beautiful roof garden which we could access from our room and was a great space to sit in when our baby was sleeping in the room. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and the candlelit breakfast they provided was fantastic.

Seriously, my partner and myself were absolutely astonished by thecustomer service and general cleanliness with our room - to say it wasoutstanding is an understatement. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, its position within the city centre was ideal.Our room was immaculate and a real pleasure to stay in. Also, the trust given to help yourself to drinks was also commendable. I just hope people don't abuse it. All i can say was thanks, and i definitely intend on returning.
