We did not like this hotel at all as it seemed rather like a hospital. Acomplete lack of warmth. Free parking, nice walks on coastal paths, great swimming / spa , evening meals. quite.

Lovely setting, our room had a great sea view, and was very comfortable, nice shower. Evening meals excellent, (sea food banquet amazing) breakfast not too bad – more smoked salmon!.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was only a five minute walk from the bustle of Pornic and the many restaurants, also only a few minutes to walk to the most beautulful beach.

Close to centre and the port and restaurants/bars etc. Private parkingvery useful. Our room at the back, overlooking the car park was veryquiet, front rooms would probably suffer some traffic noise as thereseemed to be constant traffic in Pornic.

Very welcoming staff, cheerful room, easy parking, yet walking distance to train station and old port. We asked for a quiet room and got it, with a small balcony too. Pornic is a good stop fro tourists with lots of restaurants and cafes, an old town, wonderful seaside walks.

The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. As a bonus, he spoke alot more English than I spoke French! The room was clean, tidy and veryadequate for an overnight stop. Next time, I'd be happy to stay longerand explore more of the local area. Pornic has lots to offer.

The staff were very pleasant and made me feel welcome. The dining roomwas well laid out and the evening meal was excellent. At breakfast therewas plenty of choice and on both occasions the service was first class.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as superb value for money.

This is a very nice hotel which does exactly what it says on the tin. It is clean , comfortable and very close to the small but active sandy beach at les sablons. It is located in a self contained small village 2 miles from the bustling and busy resort of Pornic. The breakfast is an additional 9 Euros per night per person so you need to consider this when booking. This can soon add up. We avoided these charges by visiting he local supermarket and having our own breakfast in the room. That said the hotel has a small resaurant which offers excellent value in the evening. You can order a 3 course meal of vey high quality for around 17 Euros. Staff are friendly and the facilitiesare extremely clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but particiuarly people with small children. As we said the hotel is only 2 miles from bustling small resort of Pornic where during our stay had a lot going on. The resort also has a number of good value resuarants. If you don't have a car it might be

This hotel is in a superb setting and has very good stafff who are verykeen for you to enjoy your stay and nothing is too much trouble. Foodwas excellent and well presented (particularly the breakfast) althoughwe did suggest they have some vin de maison wines as well as so manyexpensive ones. Good walks from the hotel and the walled garden is acontinuous pleasure to explore.

Location of hotel is excellent, quiet countryside but 5 mins walk fromthe sea and various small beaches. Lovely walk into Pornic on thecoastal path, approx 3 miles. Also coastal path going in the oppositedirection. Lots cycle tracks. Hotel has heated outdoor pool and tenniscourt. Hotel itself is a lovely, authentic auberge with stone walls,wooden beams. Superb lounge and restaurant with real fire in restaurant- lots of character! Our initial room (we liked the hotel so much westayed an extra 2 nights!!) was a studio mezzanine, kitchenette, toilet,bathroom and living area downstairs and lovely comfortable double bedupstairs. Room had balcony with 2 deckchairs and umbrella. Kitchenettewas very well equipped with 2 electric rings, good size fridge,dishwasher, micro/combi oven and lots of crockery and cutlery. Fryingpans, pans of all sizes and various utensils provided. Hotel set inlarge grounds with super kitchen gardens, vineyard, at the rear of hotelvarious animals are beautifully kept
