Me and my boyfriend decided upon this hotel as it offered individualbathroom, a reasonable price and a location close to the mainattractions in Paris. First of all, when we reached the location we were pleased to see that the metro station was very close to the hotel (a 2 minute- walk) and that the line 2 take us to several tourist spots and offered us very good links to the metro lines taking us to the city center. On our first day we took a walk up to Place de la Concorde, Les Jardins des Tuileries and Louvre and it was not a very tiring one. Thus, those who enjoy wandering through an exciting city, preparing architectural surprises at each corner, dedicate yourself to an about 1h30' walk which would surely lead you to the heart of Paris. As for the room, it was quite spacious, with a nice view towards Sacre Coeur, clean and cosy. The design of the room is very simple and elegant, and the darker color of the furniture is tempered by the white color of the walls. Oh, and I must als

We had room 203 on the ground floor across the small paved courtyard andour room was pleasant enough for one night. The bed was very comfortableand spacious. The breakfast cost 6 euros and was a standard frenchbreakfast. The coffee was good and the bread and croissants were freshand tasty. We didn't see anywhere nearby to have breakfast out, which wesometimes do. The staff were very pleasant and helpful- though we knowParis well and spoke french with them. They looked after our bags afterour check out until we needed to catch the train back. The area is goodfor metro links, thoughI wouldn't want to hang about here in theevenings. You can walk easily to the canal St Martin and you could go upas far as the Cite des Sciences (we didn't have time to do this). Buttesde Chaumont park is within walking distance. It's a hilly, picturesqueplace and worth a visit for the views over Paris .

The hotel is well-kept, and the family who owns it are proud of their hotel, and they are friendly and helpful. We were staying nine days, so they automatically upgraded us to one of their nicest rooms, at no extra charge. Also, we arrived in the morning, and they allowed us to check in early. While we were waiting for the few minutes that it took them to get our room ready for us, we enjoyed coffee and juice at the small bar/ cafe that is part of their hotel. Very sweet, accommodating hosts, and our maid was lovely. It is a very short walk to the Metro,(Stalingrad station), and there is a large market and a delicious little boulangerie extrememly close by.
