The staff was very friendly. Our room was small and simple, but nice and clean. It was quiet at night (our room was at the back) and the bed had a perfect matras so I slept like a baby. Breakfast was very, well.. French of course, with croissants and sweet stuff and you could have it outside on the terras on the back. And there was good coffee, which immediately makes me happy in the morning. The hotel is quite easily reachable by car and it has indoor parking under the hotel, which was very convenient. We could also leave the car for an exra day (for half price, so E7,50) after checking out to visit the city on our last day in Paris. The hotel is situated in a very nice neighbourhood, right near Rue de Rivoli, which is a busy street with a lot of traffic but it has a lot of nice shops, bars/bistro's and restaurants (especially in the small side roads). There is a metro very close to the hotel (few minutes walking), but we didn't use it, since it was only a 10 minute walk to Place de

The quad, as they called it -- two singles pushed together in a loft over another room below — was clean, neat, and modern, with a nice bathroom. It was small (see below), but this matter little, as we were there to see Paris, not the hotel, and the location was wonderful. This Bastille area is quite interesting, in a real-community sort of way, with good reasonable eateries nearby. Favorties were Le Chat Bossu, a friendly brasserie at end of street, and the Place Trousseau, a park & plaza with good playground fo rhte kids, a superb patisserie, Ble Sucre, and a fine bistro just past that, something Trouseau: wonderful room, good food, fine sidewalk dining, and a friendly dog mascot, Dandy. Metro nearby take you to Rive Guache & other main attractions w little trouble.

Very clean hotel. Small rooms but very well arranged and warm. They havea heating system that you can turn on and off and also air conditioninstallation. We travelled in November, so heating was an importantissue, yet we found other tourists that stayed in other hotels withoutheating. Good food, pleaseant staff. Location is near the metro -Bastille and near the Rue de Lappe and Rue de la Roquette where thereare a lot of bars and restaurants. At Bastille Metro is the line 1 Metrothat go to the Louvre, Charles de Gaulle, Concorde, Tuillers, so almostall the main touristic objectives. Very close to Barrio Latino, a famouslatin disco in Faubourg S.Antoine.
