Lovely traditional old hotel, with very good food and reasonable prices. Rooms were very small. food good. location good.

Great location, lovely large rooms, staff extremely helpful. Our room was much better than the photos online.

We received a warm welcome on our arrival and were delighted with ourroom with twin beds and shower. We dined inthe restaurant which provided a range of attractive menus and thequality and presentation of the food could not be faulted. Breakfast wasalso impressive with a vast selection of foods available and a greatatmosphere provided by the chatter of many different nations. Parking inthe nearby public car park was safe but the hostellerie also providedplaces in a lockable garage for a nominal ch.

The staff were excellent at the hotel and very proud of the family tradition which goes through 4 generations. The meal we had in the evening was excellent and reasonably priced and the breakfast was also good value for money. The location of the hotel was excellent and we had an excellent view of the Basilica lit up in the evening from our bedroom window.

As the name suggests, the hotel is close to the Basilique (100m) in aquiet road (if you ignore the church bells!). Our room had a bath with shower attachment but therewas plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our room wasnot made up and we had to wait 10mins but otherwise it was fine. Thehotel has a car park which is a bonus!.

We have decided to stay in Paral-le-Monial because of the old cluniac monastery. Hotel is situated near the temple in the 19-century building. At the ground floor there is located the restaurant. Most of staff speak English.
