Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We stayed there to break our journey to UK from South of France. We will definitely use the hotel again. Niort is a very pleasant city in the process of development and restoration. Close to La Venise Verte which is well worth a visit.

I liked everything about this hotel. From its street appearance you just know this is much more than a 3 star hotel. This is confirmed when you enter the hotel. It is simply beautiful, with quality upmarket design and furnishings. The rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent bathrooms and beds that have to be the most comfortable we have ever slept in. What makes this hotel even more special is the staff, every one of them from the manager to the reception staff made our stay memorable. We stay at a lot of hotels, this we consider to be one of the very best and should be considered as 5 star quality. My wife, my two daughters and I thought it was a really great hotel and look forward to returning.

I have stayed at this hotel previously and think it is an absolutely superb hotel. An impeccably kept hotel, the best staff of any hotel I have visited. When we arrived I realized I had made a mistake in my booking and had booked for the previous night. The gentleman on reception had every right to say 'Sorry but we kept your room and you didn't show so you have to pay again'. But as is the norm with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff here all he said was 'No problem, we still have your room for you'. I can't rate this hotel highly enough. On checking out the other gentleman on reception was also incredibly helpful. But in fact I found the people in Niort to be that way in general. Huge public car park directly opposite hotel and it only costs 3 euro for overnight parking. The area around the hotel is perfect for walking around and shopping with plenty of really nice outdoor restaurants.
