The room was huge. The pool was fabulous. The hotel is on a busy street in a busy little town deep in a valley. Fitting in a little swimming pool (nicely heated) is a fabulously clever thing to do! The place has lots of character, and is in several different buildings- I think being converted from two (or even three?) smaller hotels.

The staff were very friendly and cheerful. Meyrueis was a pleasant surprise for us. A small but busylittle village with good restaurants and lots of activities. The hotelhas it’s own restaurant which is good value for money.

The location was brilliant, right in the middle of a very buzzing town full of life and places to eat. Hotel food was excellent. Would recommend this hotel, but more for the location than the hotel itself.

Fantastic location remote high up in the Cevenne, but the hotel was warmand friendly. A big room and lovely bathroom. A lift to help withluggage. A huge garden and a swimming pool and very helpful staff.Gardens to rear and a lovely river at the front where you could sit onthe terrace in front of the hotel and watch the world go by. However,the highlight was the food. We had no idea that the evening meal wouldbe created by a marvellous chef called Daniel. The food was superb, andeven if you had what would be called the "tourist" menu, the choiceswere amazing, and the food and it's presentation was amazing. I would goback to the hotel, and this simple little village again if I had theopportunity.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was very good indeed and far better than we expected it to be for a 2 star hotel. In fact it should in our view be a 3 star hotel, (not a 2 star as advertised). The food was exceptional, rooms really comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the pool and beautiful scenery. We would definately recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon.

Unfortunately we only had 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Whileeverything was to our liking the biggest surprise was the quality ofthe restaurant which provided first class meals and service at a veryreasonable price. As it was late October most of the village wasclosed but for someone who wanted to visit the gorges and mountains itwas perfect.
