Very nice hotel, I had a really large room, compared to usual hotel room sizes. WiFi internet connection was OK in my room, and also elsewhere in the hotel, the speed was however a little bit low, but was acceptable for emails and skype (without video). The food choice of breakfast would have been rich, but at 9:30 warm foods and baguettes lacked. (after asking however I could get baguettes :-) ).

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and most were multilingual. Very convenient location to local shops and restaurants. Short walk to train station to travel to Paris (15 minutes by train ) Meals in the hotel were very good.

I liked everything about it. I have also stayed at other Ibis hotelsand found them all to be good, but your one beats them all forfriendliness. We also had lunch there and it compared with other placesfor quality and price. Thank you.

This hotel is well-placed if you are visiting Paris with a car. Situated about 1km from the RER station at Maisons-Laffitte, you can be in the centre of Paris in about 40 minutes. The big attraction is plentiful free parking outside the hotel and ease of access to the road network. Hotel is modern (looks like they are extending) and has a nice outside area for fine weather. If you don’t want to eat in the hotel.

Very Friendly Staff, the lady at receiption was very nice and all staff spoke good english. Hotel and room was very clean, our room was excellent. Hotel was quiet which was great a night. I would highly recommend this Hotel for couples. We had a lovely stay at this Hotel - thank you Au Manoir Saint Germain.

The hotel was easily reached from Gare du Nord were we arrived from the Netherlands by using the Metro. The hotel allthough small is well situated close to a Metro station and close for international travellers to a stop for a tourist bus (l’open tour). Even though the restaurants close to the hotel are expensive one can cross the road and wander into the smaller streets and find excellent reasonably priced restaurants. We found the Parisians very friendly and enjoyed our stay.

The staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and quiet. The location was superb for exploring Paris on foot, but being close to a metro station it would be easy to explore on the metro too (and straightforward to get to and from the airport as long as you are able to carry your luggage up a few steps and through the metro barriers). We had a fantastic five nights staying here and we would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for comfort in a small friendly hotel.

Our room was fairly large by comparison to other Paris hotels. The room faced the front of the hotel on the fourth floor, but was very quiet. The location is excellent. The reception was very helpful and efficient.

The hotel provided an excellent balance of high quality comfort with therestrictions of an old Parisien building. Thehotel is very well maintained and extremely clean - after staying inlots of Paris hotels this one is exceptional in the standardsmaintained. Good location, good price. Exactly whatyou need when you travel with family and just use your hotel room tosleep in and have a bath. There is indeed a bar near thehotel but it never annoyed our sleep. To be honest I liked the fact thatthe hotel is located at a very in neighbourhood full of bars, cafes andrestaurants.

This hotel is located within walking distance of all the features wewere hoping to see and visit in Paris. Also it is only a short walk toa tour buss office which enabled us to visit and see places ofinterest beyond the local scenery. The lady at the front servicecounter of this hotel was very helpfull with directions andinformation which enabled us to to take in a lot of attractions duringour three day visit. I would recommend this hotel for it’s location,helpfull staff and value for cost.

Hotel Choiseul Opera aces a lot of requirements, in my book. Not only that, it’s smack in the middle of Central Paris, which was great for us tourists. But the greatest thing about the hotel was the staff: they were all extremely friendly and talking with them was both easy and enjoyable. The concierge at the counter was beyond hel.

We had a booking at the hotel for 1 night but due to the recent strike in France needed another nights accommodation as our flight had been cancelled. Although the hotel was full the staff went out of their way to look after us. Finally had a cancellation but they had already booked us with their sister hotel. Could not ask for better service.

The staffs are great, very friendly, are willing to help and answer any questions, also they speak very good English. The hotel is located in a very good neighbourhood, safe, and is surrounded by many restaurants that are open till late at night. The subway station is only 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room is slightly too small if you have more than 1 big luggage but is fully equipped with all essential equipment you may need.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I felt very safe in this hotel with good security facilities. The hotel is quite and a nice relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent location with friendly staff who spoke english made our Paris trip a memorable one. The Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. After a long day in Paris, that is all one requires and Hotel Helvetia delivers it ! Enjoyed the daily breakfast,though it was simple but it was a big bonus to us as food in Paris is so expensive. Would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a simple room without fuss.
