We were staying in the hotel for two days from 14/07/2011to 16/07/11. Our purpose of the visit is to Lourdes is pilgrimage and 2 parents and 3grown up children were staying in the hotel. The hotel is located onlyabout 200 meters from the Basilica and it was very clean and the staffwere very helpful. The hotel has 7 floors and there are two lift whichwere always available. It is also worth to mention that it would cost 85Euros to get to the hotel if you land at Pau airport. You can getinformation for taxi services from the Hotel.

The hotel was very close to the Lourdes Shrine and we could easilywalk back and forth from the Shrine. The beds were firm yet still comfortable. The staff washelpful and friendly. There is a grocery convenience store across thestreet which is handy.

The hotel was very close to the sanctuary. Very friendly and helpful staff. Daily cleaning was provided from the day one since we arrived at the hotel. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and prefer to stay there during my next visit.

Only the fact that it’s close to the train station. We have booked atriple w/ 1 extra bed as stated per hotel policies & wrote this in theremarks section & asked for confirmation (2 adults & 2 kids), but norBooking. com nor the hotel manager have read the comment or took it intoconsideration, so upon arrival & after a long journey from Paris, theassistant manager told us that they can’t put extra bed in a triple roomso we have to manage or they give us a bigger room for extra money whichwe didn’t accept because the rooms do not match w/ the price(overpriced, extremely small versus other hotels.

It was close to the Lourdes Grotto, set in beautiful grounds with a viewof the Pyrnees. The hotel itselfis well appointed with an eye to detail so far as the interior decor isconcerned. The pool is delightfully located. It also helped that thefront desk is also a tourist information point.

Extremely conveniently located for the railway station. Very helpful staff - most spoke good English. Great location - excellent view over Lourdes, nice clean pool & terrace, free parking. Much better than I’d anticipated and the meals were good too.

It’s position in Lourdes is is ideal; close enough to get to all easily yet not in the middle of streets full of shops/hotels. Unlike many visitors, we did not have to queue on the pavement/road waiting for our registration. The food was more than adequate and staff great: how many places would recommend a much cheaper bottle of wine when asked for a local product?We really enjoyed our stay there [especially as our room on the fourth floor had a great view] and can see why it had such good reviews on the web; would not hesitate to return.

All the staff were very kind and helpful. They made restaurantsuggestions, restaurant reservations, taxi reservations. They helped inany way they could. Also, my son left his cell phone at the hotel andthey were kind enough to call me and let me know they had found thephone and then they mailed it to a hotel where we would be staying laterin our trip.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean,comfortable hotel. The hotel location is also excellent; in a quite area, away from the bustle of Lourdes, but still within 10 minutes walk of the Grotto and two streets away from the covered market and main street. The hotel can be difficult to find without a navigation device. if it is of any help, it stands in the grounds of the Lourdes Museum which is better signposted than the hotel.

Lourdes is a rather special town with a strong story. The hotel waswelcoming and friendly. Close to the town,next to a graveyard, so suitably quiet! I would recommend thistasteful, modest hotel to anyone. It doeseverything a hotel should do.

The location of the hotel was ideal with access to all the best parts ofLourdes on foot. The hotel staff were also very accomodating and I woulddefinately pick this hotel again if I was to go to Lourdes again. The Funicolare up into thePyrenees is a must and a wonder through the Grotto caves and the eveningprocessions by candle light are breathtaking. :-) Definately have dinnerat Alexandra (French) and Da Marco (Italian/french).

It is our fifth stay at this hotel and it is what we have always expected - basic, no-frills, good-value for your money accommodation. The hotel rooms seem to have had a face-lift with new paint and carpet, flat screen TV and re-tiled bathroom. Best of all still is free parking just in front of the hotel.

Just as how we always expect the Hotel Sainte Catherine to be - no frills, basic, good value for your money accommodation and, best of all, free parking in front of the hotel. It is actually our third time to stay in the hotel, and this time, they gave us a bigger room.

Everything was great at the Victoria Garden Foch during our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The Hotel is right across the street from a fresh bakery and a meat market.

It was clean and spacious enough for 6. It was about a 25-30 minutewalk to Lourdes that was not too rigorous ( a little uphill section inthe middle but otherwise flat). There was a bakery across the streetthat we used to get a better deal on breakfast than what was offered atthe hotel.

A positive cornucopia of interesting stuff. super gardens with magnificent views. plenty of outside seating. made very welcome by the owner, who directed us to a nearby hotel and booked us in for evening meal.

It was like stepping back in time. The hotel itself is charming, full of character with some beautiful antiques. The rooms are quirky and characterful - maybe not for everyone but we absolutely adored ours! The hotel owner is a lovely man and made us feel very welcome. A really memorable stay and a unique place.
