The food was amazing. As the hotel wasn’t busy, we got a room upgrade. We were lucky enough to check in three hours early, and head for the slopes which the chirlift is right next to the hotel. Staff were really helpful.

The evening meals were really good, probably the best I have ever eaten in any hotel, including 4 star hotels. The location of the hotel is very convenient when there is sufficient snow, as the ski lift (and a connecting slope) are some 50 metres from the hotel door. You just have to walk around the hotel and you’re on the slope at the ski lift. The hotel staff were nice.

Excellent place! Really nice hotel with friendly and extremely helpful staff. We had an issue with lost luggage and they really went the extra mile to track it down and get it delivered to the hotel. The spa area was also very nice. If you are looking for a nice weekend break and you´re ready to spe Braekfast was.

Les Melezes was a real find and we would definitely stay again. The hotel offers half-board and the evening four course meals were very very good - after the first, we didnt even think about going elsewhere for an evening meal. Breakfasts were pretty good too with wide variety of food and "like the best croissants ever" (15 year old daughter) The staff at reception spoke very good English which was useful whilst the others had varying levels but were happy to communicate in a mixture of English and my quite rough and ready French. Everybody was really friendly and we were made to feel really at home. The hotel is very distinctive - you really get the feel that the owners have put their personality into it. Communal spaces are full of interesting animal sculptures, antique wood pieces and cuddly toy decorations, all chosen by the owner and her daughter making it a really memorable environment. Easy access to the main ski lift (Jandri Express & Oeufs blancs aka White eggs). The price of internet on the booking.com site is specified to be 3 Euros/minute. This was not true. I managed to buy 7 days Internet access for 20 Euros.

The apartment was quite spacious and clean, although I think thecleanliness depends on how well the residents before have cleaned it.There were two bunk beds and a sofa bed with a bed that pulls outunderneath - all perfectly comfortable.

The location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk to the main lift to the glacier and nearly outside the hotel another chair lift would take you to the start area. Within 3 minutes there was the Super U supermarket, really cheap and great value. We thought the resort reminded us of Keswick in the lakes, small friendly, lots of good bars and restaurants. When we arrived we had our room upgraded from a 2 person studio to a 4 person with a balcony and a panoramic window looking over the mountains.
