This was the second time we stayed in Paxton - both times in order to visit Disneyland. This is by far the best choice among the economical hotels in the area. Don’t expect too much luxury, but overall everything is really OK - definitely above the 3-star level compared to other hotels I have seen in Paris. We had a private car, so don’t know about shuttle to Disneyland, but the trip to the amusement parks is really short and easy.

It is quite and cosy hotel, the ideal place for visiting the Disneyland which is about 10 minutes by RER. I would like to thank the hotel staff, they were very friendly, especially Yorick who helped us to get to the RER station))). Unfortunately, their breakfast menu is not very rich.

We were visiting euro disney for the weekend and the location of this hotel was perfect as we had our own car and it was just a simple 7 or 8 minute drive to the park from here. Staff were excellent, English speaking and very helpfull. Hotel was clean, tidy with modern decor.

Many positives about this hotel: friendly and helpful staff proficient in English, clean modern well-appointed room, reliable and free Internet service, very convenient to one Métro station and not far from another, on a good street, very good price for Paris 3-star hotels, nicer than any other hotel in the neighborhood. As other reviewers have noted, Paris hotel rooms are small by American standards but ours was perfectly fine. The elevator is very small and, amusingly, stops between floors rather than at them so you have to carry luggage up several steps. We did not try their €10 breakfast,.

Although near the big & noisy Avenue du Maine, the hotel rooms are quiet allowing for a good night’s sleep, not easy to find in Paris. TV reception is better & TV screen is bigger than many hotels in same category. Quite the opposite, it is a good place for a quiet stroll within a very historical and educational setting (many famous people being buried there). The other end of Rue Daguerre from the hotel is pedestrian with various shops and a pleasant tea-room with good cakes.

Quite good hotel. Compare to european hotels, most of Paris hotels have small rooms, so dont expect more than 12 m2 room. Next to the hotel - long street with cafe, small shops and bakeryes. Room was cleaned daily, thanks for it!.

The mattress was very soft and comfortable. Probably one of the bestmattress that I had slept on in a hotel. I wanted them to give me thename of the mattress so I could buy one! The design of the hotel wasalso interesting and the location was great! Central but on a sidestreet so it wasn’t noisy. Before I checked into the hotel I had had avery bad customer service experience; so I wary of the hotel and decidedthat I had to keep an open mind and not let my initial impressions ruinmy judgement/experience at the Hotel.

The Le Mathurin Hotel, is just excellent. but this hotel was my best exprience. starting with the proffisional staff, excellent rooms, breakfest and above all location. for people who which to explore Paris this is the best hotel.

Initially I booked this hotel considering its price and classificationon booking. I had already been in three different three-star hotelsin Paris, which were expensive considering their quality and had old anddusty carpets on the floor which really affected my rhinitis. The hotel is just off the Boulevard Beaumarchais offering some quiet. With a handy gap between buildings between our street and theboulevard the beautiful boulevard was readily visible from our hotelroom window and available for us to get to. Justbeing off the central tourist route the hotel offers ready access toexcellent local restaurants at reasonable prices. The hotel staff.

The hotel is clean and cosy enough and in excellent location. Rue Amelot is a quiet, one way street and the hotel is just a few steps away from Chemin Vert metro stop, and within comfortable walkig distance to Bastille metro. It had all the amenities I needed and on top of that the hotel staff were really friendly. I rate my stay at the hotel as throuroghly enjoyable.
