Very quite and peaceful hotel, 30minute walk to the town of Cordes,very pleasant. Wonderful people. great service and attention.

There is a nice view from the hotel on Cordes-sur-Ciel but it isrelatively far from "Cite" and you have to go by car. The park is alsovery nice, it is very quiet. The rooms are big and you have a lot ofspace for arranging your things.

The rooms here are generally larger than at similar priced/starredhotels (based on ours and some open rooms we walked by), and thelocation in the countryside avoids many of the traffic and parkingchallenges of Cordes. The staff is helpful and the breakfast good.

We enjoyed the feeling that this has been a family home, with all the original features in tact and a feeling of age.Its proximilty to the medieval city of Cordes sur Ciel.

Typical French country hotel - with things which were mildy quaint, butoverall a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Nice swimming pool (butunheated). Airy rooms, but no air con - shutters helped. Plumbing fine.Breakfast pleasant. Nice terrace for dining. Didn't eat dinner theredue to extensive family events. The staff didn't have much English, butnot a problem to us. Car park not very large, but on-street parkingalso possible.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and were patient in trying tounderstand our poor French if they did not speak English. Was a realplus to have free parking available in this hill top medieval village.We had dinner at the hotel on the terrace overlooking the valley. Theservice was impeccable and the food exquisite.

We booked this hotel as it came up as recommendation on the web whenanother hotel was booked. It is in an amazing location. You drive upthrough VERy narrow cobbled streets and right at the top you find thehotel. It is right in the heart of the cité which is fantastic. Thehotel manager is very friendly and welcoming and has the ability tocarry a lot of bags up to the rooms! We spend one night here on our way south and it was perfect.

I would definitely say the location of this hotel, right at the top ofan incredibly charming village far exceeded our expectations. It was anexperience we will never forget. Our room was very spacious andextremely clean with modern amenities. We could sit in bed and see formiles over the valley below - spectacular, like being in a helicopter.The charming restaurant had wonderful food and we enjoyed the atmospheredining under a 300 year old wisteria. We hope to return but woulddefinitely request a room with valley view.

Lovely room - extremely large with fabulous outlook - with stone and timber in wonderful proportions. Friendly staff. Although mid-summer when we stayed, it was almost deserted when we arrived in the early evening. It was great to visit one of these perched villages after the tourist hordes had already left.

The room was large, clean, comfortably furnished, with the mostfabulous view over the surrounding countryside. The staff werefriendly and helpful and we enjoyed a good supper in the evening.We'd love to go back and stay a few days as Cordes sur Ciel is amagical place - particularly in the evening or early morning when itis free of the day trippers.

We had the huge room at the top of the tower which was very comfortableand had spectacular views across the surrounding countryside. Watchingthe sunrises and sunsets above the autumn mist was both romantic andamazing. We enjoyed the breakfasts provided and the company of ourhost, who, at that time of year, had plenty of time to talk with usabout all kinds of interesting things. Being able to watch the medievalbanquet being held in la Halle was like seeing the medieval town comealive for us.
