Comfortable bed. Convenient location close to motorway. Reliable freeWiFi. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice presentation internally. Muchmore character than the bland Ibis-type hotels with which it'scompeting. Bar and lounge in the lobby area. Excellent breakfast.

I liked the furnishings/decor - different to the usual offerings by hotels. Customer service was excellent very helpful and friendly, both the ladies were friendly and very helpful - one was English speaking, the other wasn't yet we were still able to communicate well with my small knowledge of French. We did not have petit dejeurner. Although it is on an industrial estate that is not a negative in my opinion as there is a very nice bar/brassiere 2 minutes walk away on the estate, we had a lovely meal/drinks there also Intermarche (supermarket), another hotel where you can but meals/drinks and a restaurant next door to The Montreal although it was shut while we were there. It is a few minutes by car to Centre Ville and relatively easy to find.

The staff were very professional and courteous. The facilities in thehotel were excellent and pleasing after a long motorcycle trip. Mybedroom was very well appointed with excellent bathing facilities. Theview from my bedroom window towards the cathedral and water fountain wasquite dramatic. Being able to park my motorcycle in the hotel's privatecar park was very good.

Very charming hotel, with good location for exploring the Champagne region. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. By arrival we understood that the hotel upgraded our room from standard to luxury without extra charges. The rooms are very tidy, clean and large in size with all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay. Although our room was on the street side, we have no problems with the traffic. The breakfast was very good, although was the same each day. The personnel was very helpful to us with all our questions for sightseeing the region.

A convenient stop between Alsace and Calais. In a bereft area forcomfortable night stops, it was difficult to locate once entering thetown of Chalons en Champagne because the hotel name is stupidlyplaced perpendicular to the street, rather than horizontally;consequently we had to make numerous circles round the centralroundabout and ask several people for directions - a hugelyirritating finale to our lengthy drive from Colmar.The receptionstaff were only friendly if one smiled, otherwise they seemed scaredto be friendly. Our room was decorated solely in unwelcoming buthygenic plastic: white plastic reflective ceiling, black plasticmirrored walls, synthetic grey flooring - but preferable to theubiquitous red carpet of English hotels.

We stayed over night on our way south. The room was very clean andcomfortable if a little small. The bathroom was excellent, seemed newlyfnished with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water.The hotel had onstreet parking just across the road and this was no problem. We wereable to walk into thecentre and enjoyed a pleasant mael.The staff werevery freindly and accommodating.

A good location map of the Town is essential to find it with ease. Itwas within a 10 minute walk to the main square where all the restaurantswere located. The owner had a sense of humour good for a French man. Heand his wife made a reasonable job of a typical French breakfast thatwas over priced by uk standards but such is the case with Francegenerally. For what we paid, 50 Euros the official room price for adouble, and 16 Euros for breakfast it was good value for money by Frenchstandards and typical of a 2 star French Hotel. The room and the bedwere comfortable and clean. We parked on the pavement in front of theHotel - no problem but only one space.

We used this hotel as an overnight stop-over on the way back from the South of France. Normally the hotels we stay in are rather characterless but this was an exception. After almost eight hours driving it was so nice to relax in the delightful surroundings. Marie and Caroline were very friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and breakfast was excellent, particularly the homemade apricot jam! We hope to stay again.

A fun, quirky place to stay, just off the Place de la Republique, where there was ample parking. The decor is very fresh and different and I enjoyed the combination of shop/tea room/guest house. Marie Caroline and her mother were both friendly and helpful, suggesting a nice restaurant for our evening meal. Breakfast is included and is served in their small dining room. It does not feel like an impersonal hotel but like a B & B. I would very definitely stay there again.

Location in the centre of Chalon-en-Champagne with plenty of accessible car parking nearby. Extremely pleasant and helpful owner. Beautifully decorated, artistic room on the third floor with picturesque views over the rooftops of Chalon. Lovely breakfast - my daughters reported that the hot chocolate is the best that they have ever tasted!! Although an evening meal was not available, there were plenty of restuarants, bistros and hotels a short walk away within the centre of Chalon.
