We enjoyed staying at the Chateau, particularly at the internet price (would probably be less happy paying full price). The approach to the hotel is slightly off-putting being through slghtly run down housing estate. The hotel itself is fenced in and has extensive and pleasant grounds, far enough away from the estate and roads to get any noise problems. The decor is definately faded grandeur, but our room had a comfortable bed a.

The typical Frenchness of the hotel, forget the approach to the hotelonce in the the front gates you are in an oasis of 19th century, thedouves restaurant is excellent though some courses are far better valuefor money. We stayed two nights and the food was very good on bothnights. we found the breakfast also very good, remember you are in Francedo not expect bacon and eggs but the croissant and pain au chocalat weremorish together with fresh yogurt offered good value for 10 euros.

We thought the hotel had charm. We also liked the large open grounds in which the hotel is set. The restaurant was excellent and the related grounds were ok. Chateau itself was very nice.

Second time here and just as good. Recommend room 1 as is very comfortable and spacious with balcony and huge bed! Dinner in restaurant was superb and staff very attentive. Do try it! If closed, can recommend Restaurant St Nicholas close by.

This is a peculiar but enjoyable hotel. It is located on an outside shopping mall, next to a number of small shops and a large Cora supermarket a few minutes away. Our room was very nice with a welcome air conditioning on a hot day. The bed is soft and fluffly, but it did not lead to backache. The bathroom was in need of some work and a descaling of the showerhead. The reception, bar, restaurant, and spa are all in one large open space. The spa had a few whirlpools, some gym equipment, and a swimming pool (without water while we were there). We did not eat at the hotel's restaurant because we did not like the chlorine smell that intruded from the spa area. The Japanese/Chinese next door has decent enough food. The sashimi was good, and perhaps the buffet is as well (we did not have that but it seemed the most popular choice of the other diners). Although unprepossessing from the outside, inside it was visuallystunning. The decoration and ornaments/pictures all enhanced theatmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we enjoyedusing the spa and pool - a welcome chance to relax after a full daydrive. The bedroom was large and well equipped and the bed was reallycomfortable - very important!

Not a 'normal' hotel building as the hotel is above a number of shops ina Shopping Centre. Very pleasant inside,small but adequate pool, 3 hottubs, sauna and steam rooms. Rooms very comfortable with AirConditioning, bathroom with shower and good tv. Very good bed andbedding. No sign of building work close to hotel as mentioned on someweb sites.

I stayed at this hotel because I had a job interview, even though theinterview didn’t go 100% well, I’m happy to have discovered thisinteresting hotel. It’s a really special place, not only a tasty and artsurrounded designed hotel, it’s more than that, since the owner isdecorator and artist and has put his soul and taste in it- It’s aperfect mixture of old and modern styles. Also the owner is very kindand helpful. You’ll have the chance to try one of the deliciouscroissants and fresh-pressed orange juice during the breakfast.
