Excellent hotel, clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful staff. The room we had was at the front of the hotel with nice views of thelocal street. Parking can be difficult in high season so best pre-book the hotelgarage for about 12 euros. Recommend.

We have stayed at this hotel many tmes on our travels to Spain and the UK. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spotless. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and has garage parking. All in all a very nice hotel and city.

This is our second visit to the Hotel d’Angleterre. We very much enjoy the ambiance of the hotel’s setting and architecture which is underpinned by excellent hotel staff. We were able to book the same room as our previous visit, which has a double aspect allowing a view of the cobbled streets, the fountain and other old buildings including the Palace of Jacques Couers which is lit at night as part of the Nuit Luminere (not to be missed). Secure parking is available at E10 per day and is well worth considering.

We were happy with the location of the hotel. We chose Campanile because several years ago we had stayed at Campanile Limoges which was very good.

Staff extremely friendly , parking ok ,building outside very nice ,location ok ,breakfast good. Bit a shame that the hotel is in the Mercure chain. Prices of drinks (6 euro for a glas house wine and 5 euor for a beer ) overpriced looking to the quality of the interior. However the building is very nice the first impression entering the hotel are the broken marble stairs leading to the reception !.

The hotel was a very good top class hotel at a fair price. therestaurant was gourmet but unfortunately when we arrived it was fullybooked, we really wanted to eat in the restaurant and would have thoughtthat they would have kept spaces for people booking into the hotel.

Het hotel is in the centrum of Bourges, perfect situated, we had a veryrestful stay. This hotel is very fine to travel to the south and forpassing trough.

This hotel really surpassed my expectations! We had a very spacious roomwith an extremely comfortable, kingsize bed. The bathroom was large,clean and had a whirpool bath in it - a nice surprise! The style of thehotel is very nice, it's a 30's building and they have decorated therooms in a kind of comfortable, luxurious ethnic style. The room alsohad tea and coffee making facilities, which was appreciated, and alarge, flatscreen tv. The hotel is off a main road but is not noisy. Ittook about 10-15 minutes to walk into the city centre from the hotel.There is plenty of free parking on site for guests. It's a shame reallythat we only had one night at the hotel as I would have gladly stayedfor longer.

Used as stopover from the Ardeche to Cherbourg, 10 mins walk into oldpart of town, worth seeing huge cathedral, plenty of restaurants,although also a grill restaurant next to hotel. Personally thoughtbreakfast overpriced at 9 euros but seems the norm now in France, Theyhad plenty of speciality teas but only one breakfast tea bag anddidn't seem to understand when we asked if anymore, suggest you takea few of your own teabags if you want a good morning cuppa. On siteparking, clean, room, good shower, large bed.

We travelled down to Bourges from Boulogne Sur Mer so it was a longjourney. The welcome was friendly and informative and the en suite roomwas comfortable, clean and a good size. The bathroom was very good witha fantastic shower (not always found in many hotels I must say). Thebreakfast was well prepared with a very good variety of food andbeverages. I would definitely recommend this hotle and would book itagain if I stay in Bourges in the future.

Villa c is a very stylish hotel, the design and colour scheme is verytasteful and the room and the bed in particular was very comfortable.The hotel still appears to be unfinished and parking is very limited(make sure you book it in advance), but nevertheless it was a very niceboutique hotel that was good value. It is a good location for thestation and although the immediate area is not particularly nice, it isonly a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bourges with lovely streets andcafés. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we even heard somedelightful piano playing in the hotel lobby. We were on our way to LaRochelle and stopped for one night in Bourges and I would definitelyrecommend staying in Villa C.
