Overlooking Bonifacio's harbor, close to the ferry to Sardinia, veryaccomodating hotel staff, the lady at the reception even did our ferrybooking out of Bastia to Livorno when the ferry we wanted to take fromBonifacio to Sardinia went on strike.

Incredible views of the citadel. Stay here, not in the citadel, so you can look at it! Staff spoke very good English and were very friendly. Great pool, also with great views. Room was small but perfectly fine, with nice view of harbor. Parking lot on site.

We liked the hotel aesthetics - the materials, the design, the attentionto detail. Although our room was not large, we appreciated the qualityof the furnishings, the patio with its view of the harbor, and greatbath products. Staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive to requests.The location was terrific - staying in Haute Ville is definitely whereyou want to be in Bonifacio. The location allows you to spend theevening (no driving in the dark!) in the old quarter, which is socharming and convenient to restaurants and shops and yet a short driveto glorious beaches and other activities during the day.

Expensive but well located, built inside part of the Old City wall. Wechose it because of the location and were promised a balcony overlookingthe harbour below. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to get adark,crowded and rather "offside" room ( room 8) with very little view.Happily, the next morning, the staff responded positively to our requestto change rooms. Breakfast was very expensive but was served in abright, well designed space adjacent to the Old City wall and next tothe lovely outdoor hotel pool. Very atmospheric. We can definitelyrecommend this hotel for your stay in Bonifaccio.

Hotel Genovese is in an amazing and quite perfect location just outsidethe old city of Bonifacio located on top of the cliff. The hotel hasbeen built incorporating an old wall from the military fortificationsand has stunning views down towards the marina and over to the old city. The hotel is very nicely designed and decorated, light and modern. The pool area and breakfast room are particularly inviting and although we did not sample the breakfast, the choice on offer was quite wide and varied. We stayed in a Harbour View room which had its own private terrace with table and chairs and was semi-recessed into the terracotta roof of the courtyard which a number of rooms open on to. Our room had a lovely view of the pool out the bathroom window and from both the bedroom window and the terrace we had a beautiful view down to the marina and over across to the old city. The room was lovely, light and colourful. The bathroom had all the amenities you could want including robes. Hotel G

The hotel, although having a slightly "clinical" appearance, was very comfortable and had a superb swimming pool on offer. When we were there, we had the pool to ourselves! The staff were very courteous and the room was very comfortable indeed. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a couple of minutes from the port, with access to many good restaurants. A perfectly good buffet breakfast was served. We would certainly recommend this hotel. Our only slight complaint was that the cost of the room seemed a bit high, but this does not take away from a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

This was probably the cleanest hotel I have stayed in....it was spotless. The room was spacious and the sea view was superb. The hotel is on a very quiet road so you do not hear any traffic at all through the night. The car park is secure and spacious. Restaurants and the main town are nearby, but it is a steep hill to get into the old town centre. The pool was excellent and private with a member of staff on hand to supply tea coffee snacks and ice cream. As with anywhere abroad, if you do enjoy a nice cup of tea, take you own tea bags !!!
