We have used the Hotel Savoie on a number of occasions over the past 12 years and wouldn’t go back if we weren’t happy. Only a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Quiet location. Rooms are on the small side, but that is true of most French hotel rooms.

Staff friendly and very helpful. 10 minutes walk to the centre of Blois. No parking at the hotel but easy to park in the streets around, 8 hoursfor a few euro. This is a basic hotel, the room was clean andserviceable but you wouldn’t want to spend any more time in it thannecessary.

Maybe if comparing this hotel to other hotels to Blois it’s not too bad, but to my standards it was not good at all. It’s a very simple hotel which was not renovated for a very long time. The location is good, quite close to the castle and the main station. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Location is very good. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful. The best part forme was that this hotel matches the setting; it adds to the feeling ofhistory around you. Overall the hotel is no frill, but very nice, cleanand comfortable.

The hotel is centrally located in the city of Blois and is inside a classic old building. Very friendly staff personally showed us to the room which had its own entrance from the backyard. The room exceeded our expectations (especially considering the very low price).

The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. He allowed us to park our bikes inside the hotel for free, helped us search for a car rental hire place and advised us where to visit.

The hotel is centrally located in the city of Blois and is inside a classic old building. Very friendly staff personally showed us to the room which had its own entrance from the backyard. The room exceeded our expectations (especially considering the very low price).

Easy to locate the hotel at center of city and sightseeing place(actually Blois is not a big town), internet is fast. Hotel restaurantis fine and cost is still acceptable compared with those in sightseeingplace. View is nice as we may see the River Loire from room.

The couple who run the hotel are the nicest people in all of France!Good dining recommendations, patient with our bad French (they speakperfect English, but we wanted to try to work on our French). Hotel hasan excellent location, great view of the chateau, and an easy walk tothe alleyways of Blois.

We used this hotel as a base to visit a few chateaux in the Loire Valley. The hotel is old, but the staff was friendly, the room spacious and clean, and the breakfast excellent. The hotel was right in downtown Blois, so we could easily walk to restaurants for dinner.
