The hotel itself was fine but the owners were the rudest that I have ever come across for reasons I am still not sure about. I have emailed you seperately about this. The hotel is well placed, clean and adequate for our needs.

The accommodation had excellent facilities and was spacious. The owners were very helpful. The hotel was situated in the centre of the village and was close to several restaurants of excellent quality.

We loved the style of this graceful old house. The rooms areindividually named and we stayed in 'Jade' at the top of the circularwooden staircase. From the room window we looked down over the lawn andthe tennis court. In the distance we could see the Pyrenees. For ourevening meal we strolled down a country lane to the Moulin. This is anopen-air bar which serves simple fresh food. In the morning breakfastwas served in a small hotel a few yards down the road and owned by thesame family. Everything about Domaine De Bassilour was done to thehighest standard. We loved this place.

The hotel and staff were first class. In beautiful surroundings and easy access to Biarritz, airport and coast. Every room is unique and beautifully furnished. Lovely breakfast, huge bed and friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

The owners made us feel very welcome. We had a simple but charminglydecorated spacious room and although situated on a road, we did not hearany traffic. We took our dog and required secure parking and both wereprovided for easily.

This was a pleasant overnight stay on the drive back from Spain. We chose one of the balcony rooms at the front of the hotel, which had views of the sea and mountains, as well as being perched over the interesting town square. The building had a very individual character, and the decor and fittings of our spacious room were modern and fashionable. Staff were friendly and helpful. A range of drinks and snacks was available from the bar on the ground floor, where a basic breakfast was also served. A number of shops and restaurants were situated close by, as was the local pelota stadium.

we were delighted with the friendly welcome and the great room with its balcony overlooking the flower filled square The decor ws modern and tasteful and the breakfast for one was enough for 2 and it was efficiently delivered to our room at exactly the time we asked

We liked absolutely everything at this hotel: the location, the breakfasts, our room which was absolutely first class (just like the rest of the facilities), and, above all, the people who own and work at this place. The service they provided was second to none. They did everything they could to help us, they provided us with great advice on places to visit, and, generally, they did everything they could to make our stay so enjoyable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone without any reservation. It is an absolutely great place situated in an outstanding town.

This was our second stay this summer - we considered going elsewhere inSouth West France but in the end decided on a return visit and were gladwe did. On arrival we received a genuine warm welcome - the servicereally is personal and charming. Good breakfast, great pool, comfortablebeds and a excellent choice of restaurants just up the road. Easy accessto the beaches and loads of places to explore nearby. Just perfect!
