The hotel was close to the beach and markets, and the surrounding area is quiet - I felt safe there. The overall look of the hotel when inside is good: clean and well maintained. Parking is easy, either in the hotel car park or just outside in the street. Breakfast was of a good standard, all cold food but with hot drinks, and the tea was very good.

Found this to be a 2 star hotel which suited our needs for one nightfamily of 5 in a studio appt which was clean, towels and sheets alsoclean. Hotel is being renovated but this didn’t disturb us. Good stopover hotel as we were heading off for a holiday in the vendee region. Not many other hotelsoffer this - in france only 4 persons are allowed in rooms. It will belovely when hotel is fully refurbished and pool and gym working.

The hotel itself is tired and past its hay day, the staff polite,helpful & welcoming, selected this hotel for our last night in France onthe way back to Calais which was fine. Berck too is charming in its own way, but definitely faded and a bit down at heel, if you want smart & chic then go to Le To.

This hotel is very typical of a French family run hotel. Our room was clean warm and comfortable and clean towels were provided everyday. We stayed a week on half board special offer and were impresed by the food in the restaurant there was a choice of 3 meals per course on the half board menu and we enjoyed everything (the creme brulee is to die for!) Breakfst was the same every morning but again this is typical in France and everything was tasty and fresh. The only disappointment.

A good location for an overnight stay whilst en route to our holiday house. Much nicer to stay in a seaside location rather than in a characterless budget chain hotel. Plenty of space in the family room. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Typical french hotel, in need of some tlc, our bedroom was small andlacked any storage ,but restaurant refurbished and served good food. Thestaff and owners very helpful. Good location for short walk to the sea. There is no hotel parking, vehicles have to be left on the street.

Despite our limited French, the staff were friendly and helpful, evenallowing us to book in 3 hours early. The hotel is excellently placed,just 3 blocks from the huge clean beach (suitable for everyone) andyards from the best street in town for shops and restaurants (theImperatrice Hotel and Carnot Restaurant were especially good). Our room was basic, with no view to speak of andquite small but it was quiet, clean and comfortable and perfectlyadequate for our 4 nights. The bar and restaurant set.

The restaurant was very clean and comfortable and the food very good andclearly prepared with pride. The staff were very welcoming and helpful -although I speak a little French it was not enough to resolve an issue Ihad, so with the assistance of what were clearly regular customers, thebarman sent out for someone who spoke better English.

The hotel was close to the main shopping area and the beach but on aside road so you were not disturbed by the many holiday visitors thatwere around the beach and shops. Car parking was a bit off a lottery asit was on the road and certain market days meant you could not park incertain areas. However this was not a problem for me personally as Iused a motorbike. The bike by the way was a great attraction for thehotel staff and many visitors spent time talking about bikes.

Location of the hotel was very close to the beach. The room was good-sized and clean. Bedding was comfortable. On-street parking was available very close to hotel.
