Because the hotel was out of the centre the restaurant was very welcome. Very accommodating when we said we were arriving late.

Every year we go on holiday to france if we return by ferry from St Malowe always use this hotel and have done for many years and will continuea few more years yet.

The public rooms were bright and clean, surprised to learn it was a long-established hotel, it appeared to be quite new. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food good.

The hotel proved an excellent stop over for our departure at St Malo the next day. The hotel was small but very comfortable and the nearby bistro served us an excellent evening meal. Our breakfast at L’Ascott was excellent and our two year old was accomodated well.

We used the hotel for a one night stay on our way from South West Franceto catch the morning ferry to Portsmouth. This is a lovely, uniquelittle hotel with lots of French character and style. The owner andstaff are very friendly and attentive. There.

Eric & Arlette run a delightfully small hotel providing a warm welcoming atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was immaculately clean. Parking not an issue in immediate vicinity. Great walk to old town along the promenade.

This is a very efficiently run small hotel very near the main St Malo long beach. The rooms are functional but comfortable and all your basic needs are met. It is quite a long lovely walk on the promenade to the old town but there are many buses available. We would use this hotel again.

This hotel looks nothing from the outside but the interior has beendecorated cleverly to make budget look boutique. The staff we met were extremely helpful and friendly. We didnot try the breakfast as we were off early in the morning but the coffeewas good. We had recently been staying in a similarly priced and starredhotel in Jersey and this lovely stylish little place was miles ahead inattitude and looks.

We liked the hotel but find it difficult to link it to your set of options above. It is a hotel with lots of character and significant historical perspective. The staff were first rate and serve the largest croissants in France.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The hotellier was very personable and spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was very fresh - best crossants I had throughout my stay in France!.

I had Room No. With anexcellent hi-powered hairdryer - which was a relief! The couple that runthe hotel are extremely welcoming and fluent in English which was verywelcome as my French is far from fluent! I didn’t have breakfast so cancomment. It is literraly 2 mins walk away from the beach (Port du Mole). Definitely worth 1 or 2 nights stay :).

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Outside the front door gave immediate access to either the town walls or the shopping and eating areas so was so convenient. The underground car park was a bonus although at this time of year car spaces were available but by using the hotel you could leave the car without worry. Breakfasts were delicious and local jams and dairy products were on offer.

We chose Quic En Groigne for an overnight stop on our return to the UK on a Brittany ferry day crossing. The hotel was a perfect choice being only 5 minutes by car to the ferry the following morning after our continental breakfast served in the delightful conservatory. The hotel has been beautifully restored in the last three years by the owners who are very keen to make our stay a good experience. The underground car park provided a safe place to leave our.
