I appreciate the chance to stay within a few kilometers from the city but still enjoy the nature, scenery and the possibility of using the spa and gym to unwind after working. Good facilities for kids and a close distance to skiing both cross country and downhill. Breakfast is plentiful and versatile.

The location is good and there are walks nearby. There was anextensive breakfast buffet and we enjoyed the buffet in the evening aswell. The spa and swimming pool is an added bonus to a large bedroomover looking the lake

Very nice and cosy atmosphere, country style. Small single room compared to the standards of big hotel chains but quite comfortable. Excellent restaurant. Close to the pedestrian area of Jyväskylä and the train station.

Friendly and efficient staff. \lovely surroundings both in and out of the hotel. A perfect location for walking around.

It was very comfortable and quiet in our room at the back of the hotel -despite the fact that lots of night life was going on in the citycentre. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful! Thehotel is centrally located in a pedestrian precinct and has internalaccess to a beautiful 4-floor shopping arcade off the bistro bar, and toa further lounge seating area on the ground floor inner courtyard. Thehotel restaurant on the first floor has a verandah within the arcade, sowhatever the weather, you feel like you are sitting comfortably in abright and sunny street! We were able to visit with friends very easily.

We had originally booked at the Cumulus Hotel in Jyväskylä, but changedthrough booking.com for a better hotel at a far cheaper rate. The hotel was in a central position with friendly efficient staff and a good restaurant.

I really like the location of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. And that fact that majority of guests were finns made the atmosrphere at the hotel family like. It’s a very pleasent place, and I’m going to visit Alba at July during my vacation.

Desk staff efficient and friendly. Informed us of the changes made to dining over the easter period well in advance. Lovely walk around the hotel and views of the university across the lake.

The hotel staff is very good and the hotel has an excelent view of the lake. You can have your breakfast enjoying this view.
