The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Helsinki. The room was clean and adequate, the bed comfortable and the breakfast, which I missed this time but from my previous experience, is very plentiful and very tasty. The price was very reasonable. I think Hotel Arthur will be my choice also in the future.

I liked everything: location, hospitality and friendly attitude of the personnel;comfort snd cleanliness of the room, hearty breakfast etc. Next time, if I come to Helsinki, I shall try to book room at this hotel and recommend my relatives, friends and acquaintances coming to Finland to stay at Hotel Arthur. I am cordially greeing members of the staff of the hotel and wish them all the best in their life. Petersburg.

Arthur is a no-frills 3 star hotel in the heart of Helsinki. Its main advantages are its position (only 5 minutes on foot from the railway station) and its price, if you get a special rate (I paid 64 for a single room, the full price would be around 105 which frankly is a bit too much for this hotel). Breakfast is rather good for such a simple hotel. All in all, Hotel Arthur is OK for a short stay, and very convenient if you arrive/leave with the airport bus (no.

The hotel is on the edge of the city, literally 5 minutes walk to the Esplionade which is the main cool street of Helsinki. Great bar 2 minutes from the hotel called Poseidon. The hotel itself is immaculate with great rooms and a great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff, in a converted jail which shouldn’t work as a hotel, but does with bells on!.

It was a very large studio apartment, clean and comfortable. Plenty ofhot water! For us the location was nice, and we walked everywhere fromthe apartment, including to the bus station to catch the bus to theairport (about 40minutes - but there is a tram near the apartment thatgoes to the bus station if you prefer). We liked the late check out time (12pm) as it meant we were able to goout to the market on the north island on our last morning, come back andcheck out. We didn’t cook, but there.

Location: great (in the center, near the train station); the staff:excellent; the room: nice and cozy. Quiet area :). overall: 8/10 (just 8because in the room you could feel the smell of cigarettes from theprevious visitors, which can be annoying especially if you don't smoke).

The receptionist Kimo is the nicest guy ever! He not only answered allour questions with patience, he even arranged for a car to took us toour apartment since we have a heavy suitcase- we can't thank himenough. Also the apartment itself is such a cute little studio and it'slocated in a quiet building complex; inside the studio everything istidy and clean.
Elena  — 25.11.2011
Traveller's home actually provides small apartments, so that's why reception doesn't work 24hours a day. However, the lady was extremely helpful - I arrived at 6 in the morning and she found a guy who gave me a key from my studio for some extra fee. That was very kind of her, since this is not a common practise for the hotel. The studio was cosy and nice place to stay - imagine you rent a small flat for one person - so that's it. Very convenient.

Stadihome City Apartments offers a group of apartments individually located in Helsinki. My apartment was a place where you can start to live fully-fledgedly from the first minute. Apartment was in fact located on one of the main streets of Helsinki. The tram station is directly in front of the house. The bus station is only 200 m far. Well equiped food store is 20 m from house and pizza bistro is on the other side of street. This makes the location of apartment very comfortable. Even if it is located on the street with full traffic the apartment is very well noise-isolated and very quiet and cosy. Very speedy internet connection is optionally avaible.
Andrey  — 24.11.2011
Location - not far from center, authentic Helsinki feel (small apartmentat Soernainen area, along the tram 7 route); well located for essentialshopping (K-market, S-marketm Lidl: all within 3 min walk).
Alex  — 26.11.2011
At arrival we were surprised that the apartment wasn't in the centre ofHelsinki. But going there (the part of Helsinki with the name 'Töölö')by tram was very convenient. The apartment itself was just what weneeded. Good beds, a well equipped kitchen, good shower, washingmachine, dishwasher, television set, and so on. Near the apartment asupermarket (24 hours open, 1 minute walk) and to make live easy aMcDonald'S. Helsinki is a city was a great atmosphere. Nice people, goodrestaurants and a lot of museums.

The security and cleanliness of the room, the common room where one could internet, watch tv, iron, microwave, read and talk - a great facility. I found the hotel very convenient for enjoying Helsinki and really appreciated the friendliness and helfulness of the counter people. They even provided ear plugs for the noise of construction going on at night!.

Top 3 things are: location (15 mins from train station, 7 mins from bus station), kitchen in the room and helpful staff. This hostel definitely costs its money. There is major overhaul in one of the hostel’s buildings, however it doesn’t bring any problems (like noise, etc) actually.
