The staff at the Hotel Hirtshals were friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The hotel is centrally located near the town center, the beach and the train station. My room was clean, nicely decorated, and cosy. It had a separate private bathroom which was clean, and fairly large. The room had large windows, which opened to allow a comfortable breeze. The window opened to a magnificent view of the ocean and the harbour. I would also recommend a visit to Hirtshals Kro. ...a friendly and hospitable pub joined to the hotel. I would recomment Hirtshals Hotel and Kro to my firends and family for a terrific, reasonably prices, stay in Hirtshals. Janet Holm

A completely satisfactory hotel... Clean, tidy, comfortable... Niceowners and staff... The best option in Hirtshals by far... The locationis right on the town's square and a short, easy walk from the trainstation and to the Color Line ferry terminal... (Note: If you are takingthe Smyril Ferry to Faroe Islands you will either need to take a cab orthe train one station -- and then it's still a pretty long walk!...There's no "easy" access to the Smyril terminal.)

It looks nice outside, but not inside. The carpets are poor and dirty.The room was large, but not good. The water hardly run out of the sink.The bed was good and clean, though. The location is good with abeautiful view over the sea. Breakfast was okay.

Rooms, building and backyard clean, pleasant and well managed. Buffet breakfast gives definitly its best value to this budget hotel. To be warmly recommended for short stays or stopovers in connections with ferries. For longer stays, general surroundings in a business area are not that much appealing close to the port.

A modern motel providing clean comfortable accommodation in aminimalist style. A good breakfast was provided from an early startwhich is useful for those travelling South through Denmark or catchinga ferry to Norway.

I was sailing with Norröna (from Hirtshals to Iceland) so it was short way to the ship early in the morning. The location nearby the port was the main reason for choosing Motel Nordsöen.
