We booked the hotel based on the web site description. This proved to be most acurate. Everything about the hotel was good with one small problem - the mini bar/fridge did not work. This was not fixed even though we reported the fault. Otherwise the service was good and the staff spoke english well and with genuine politeness. The room was very good and comfortable. We had balcony on the top floor which was great for a quiet drink in the evening and for watching the occassional strom brew. The location was very good and close to the train station which we used as a pick up poit for a cheap bus to the airport. The resurant was fine but you will need to like meat with few alternatives on the menu. The breakfast was a triumph! Every taste was catered for and the service was very good. We did not experience any of the concerns in other reviews about men hanging around the area and noise. The location is busy and there are some adult venues in the area but no difficulties at all. T

Jalta is a decent hotel in every aspect - rooms are decent size, breakfast is decent, amenities are decent....What makes it superb isstaff! On the arrival we were greeted by Paul. He is a charmingEnglishman who made everything not only possible but easy. Than in thenext couple of days we met the other staff members - each and everyoneof them being so nice and helpful and friendly. We had two rooms on the7th floor with balconies and a view over the city. It was a perfectplace for a morning coffee and evening tea. So, if you go to Prague andwant a good hotel with exceptional location, clean, nice and friendly -don't look any further.

The hotel is within a ten minute walk from the main train station. This is good because we found the hotel by ourselves and didn't have to take a taxi. It was a bearable walk w/ our bags. The location is also very safe and nice to stroll up and down the sidewalks. The hotel was very clean and well kept and you can tell that staff cleans to standard after each guest. The breakfast was very good and there were many choices. On Saturday night there was a guitarist and pianist who entertained in the bar. That was a nice touch. The hotel staff were very nice and accomodating. I would stay there again.
