We enjoyed our stay. We had no language problem; most people spoke English. There was valet parkung. The area gives you a true sense of history. A short walk through the nearby ancient City Gate takes you to Old Town Square. We were dropped off there from a city tour to find it was a St. Martins Day celebration-large hams on spits, and other regional goods, wine tasting, outdoor cafes around and a terrific "Dixieland Band" ,Staromestsky Dixieland, singing all our old favorites in Cxech and English. Prague is an amazingly romantic city with endless history, not to mention it is where Frans Kafka wrote and lived. We found a small restaurant steps away,Nostalgia, with a guitar player and good food priced right. Prague is worth the trip.

Excellent location and a fantastic hotel. Situated 1 min from thenearest metro station (Namesti Republiky), less than 5 mins walk to theold town and located within easy walk to most attractions. Rooms(executive) was superb, very large with great facilities, the bed wasthe most comfortable we have ever slept in. Hotel staff were veryaccommodating and left a complimentary bottle of champagne for ourwedding anniversary. The hotel has lots of interesting history and thestunning ballroom must be seen. All in all, the weekend was fantastic and returning to the hotel at the end of the day was a luxury. We would highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is in such a great location. Without a doubt this is the best area to be. On our honeymoon - the staff had a bottle of champagne on ice and strawberries in our room on arrival. They even handwrote a letter from me to my new husband to have ready for him before I got there! Room was upgraded as well without asking. Big room, big beds, gorgeous bathroom, great breakfasts - although i didn't indulge in morning champagne on offer! So so close to everything important to see - the clock is just round the corner. Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay there again.
