Stayed one night (enroute to Korcula) and will certainly stay again.While not located within walking distance of the ferry, it was worththe extra effort. Especially since the inn-keepers will arrangetransport. There is nothing negative to say about our stay at all. Itwas a perfect. The stone-covered building and gardens are very pretty. The apartments/rooms are well laid out, tastefully furnished and absolutely clean. The vantage point from the terrace yeilds superb views of Vela Luka, the harbor and out into the Adriatic. Most importantly, the inn-keepers, Mario and Irene, were extremely gracious and helpful without being overly friendly. The breakfast (eggs, meat, bread, cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee, cake) was fresh, delicious and more than satisfying. As I said, it was perfect and we are looking forward to staying there again. Oh yes, the basket of fresh mandarins from their own trees were a particularly nice touch and we even got to take some with us when we left! It just d

What a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it. The room andbathroom was clean and comfy. We had booked an "economy" room, notknowing that it was tiny. Mario and Irena gave us the next largest roomwhich was much better. Internet connection can be spotty, but Marioreally helped by providing some access for my business needs. Meals atthe Villa were great. The fish is fresh and well prepared and the hostsextremely gracious. Both are very informative about local interests andsights. They even drove us partway to a very secluded by lovely swimmingspot. Once again - nothing I could find to complain about and I highlyrecommend the Villa Telenta.

Fabulous views of harbour from our balcony overlooking sea; Family run;Mario and his wife couldn't do enough for us - picked us up from ferryand returned us to town to pick up bus; Mario also checked on theinternet the bus times for us; Nice breakfast, on terrace overlookingthe sea. Though we had booked an 'economy double toom' they gave us anapartment for the night, because we were 'older'!! Offerred to fetch usfrom town after our meal. Would have provided meal but booking was verylast minute.
