I love this place, its my third time going back. I pick Villas Platbecause the are quiet and relaxing. Do not go here if looking for a'drinking holiday'. The vilas themselves are located about 10 minutesfrom the airport by taxi, 20 minutes to Dubrovnik by shuttle bus, 30minutes by taxi boat and about 15 minutes to Cavtat by taxi boat. Soperfect for different excursions. A day trip to Montenegro can also bebooked at reception. Along with a lot of other excursions. There are 3beaches to choose from, all near the villas. The best beach is besidethe Hotel Orphee, in the middle you have the beach with the bar and thelast beach you can rent kayaks. The villas and grounds are very clean,the offer different bars and restaurants, however for true value, ourbest meal was in the King Bar, about 10 minute walk back up towards themain road (seabass is really good!!!). All villas have a kitchenette, soyou can do your own breakfast and lunch. Just need to eat dinner out -the varity is good (we had d

Having stayed here before when our children were 1 & 3yrs old we decided 6yrs on to have our 1st 2 wk holiday since then back here again because.., self catering apartment on a hotel complex.., family room for 4 persons (most hotels only cater for up to 3 persons per room).., infinity pool on the edge of adriatic. wow!!.., and because we had a lovely holiday before we knew we would be happy there again and we weren't disappointed. Plat is quiet with just a bus ride to Cavtat or Dubrovnik. Hotel offers more excusions than before. Mini club now for 4-12yrs and activities throughout the day. The King restaurant up hill.., Lovely holiday., will consider going again and use booking.com., so easy. except didnt know what our 4pers room would be like, no photos!

This was our second stay at Villas Plat which is self-contained complex offering everything you need for a relaxing holiday experience. The Staff are fantastic and the facilities include a hilltop pool, overlooking the sea. Inside the complex are a Pool Bar, a Beach Bar, an a la carte (Taverna) Restaurant and a Bistro. Accommodation is simple, clean and well maintained. There is a Beach to each side of the pool and a Jetty from which the Water Taxi can be taken; South to Cavtat or North to Dubrovnik. Up the hill from Villas Plat is an exceptional Family Restaurant (Konoba) called King and there is one other Bar/Restaurant on the beach to the South. Otherwise, the location is fairly isolated.
