We enjoyed the scenic setting and beautiful views. The hotel was very comfortable, modern, bright and clean. All requirements are well catered for. The pool and beach side facilities were excellent with towel, umbrella and sun lounger facilities an important factor for comfort and ease of use.

Villa Stanovic was kept very clean. Owners very polite.Fantastic viewfrom balcony. In general the whole area of Cavtat was very clean and theCroatian people were very polite and not at all pushy or in your face,which can happen in other countries.

The views from the apartments are stunning. If your room has nokitchenette you can use the well equipped communal kitchen. You can bookyour transfer to and from the airport through the accommodation. Idapicked us up from the airport and when we got to Villa Stanovich shetook lots of time to give us very comprehensive information about thearea, including the public transport to get to other places such asDubrovnik and nearby islands (public transport very cheap), She wasgreat - so helpful. The rooms were well equipped, very clean andcomfortable. Outside there is a lovely peaceful and shady garden/patioarea with sun loungers where you can relax with a drink or good book.Highly recommended. .

The staff is friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is wonderful with an excellent ambiance. We stayed in the Maja suite on the top floor and it had a very large, beautiful balcony overlooking the valley. It is minutes from the Dubrovnik airport and was a rustic, relaxing evening after flying in the morning.

The hotel is in a great location in Cavtat.Close to everything but still in a quiet location. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby but as things close at midnight there is no problem with antisocial noise.

We had a short 4 day break at the end of season and found the hotel exactly what it promised. We were a little dissappointed when we were allocated a back room without a sea view but, we didnt go there to sit in our room looking out from the balcony, the views are everywhere while you are out and about. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly throughout. We only had b&b, breakfast was excellent, enough choices for everybody, so ok they dont do sausages and bacon like at home but.....newsflash....you're not at home!

The hotel is a 10-15 min drive from the airport and I stayed with my partner for a week in August. It is excellently located near the main port area of Cavtat (5 min walk max) with all the bars and restaurants etc. The town itself is relaxing , safe and easy going with enough to see and do for a weeks stay. There are some shops beside the hotel and a cafe/bar run by the hotel which does lunches, drinks etc and is quite cheap (e.g. 2 sandwiches and chips and 2 drinks for under €15). The hotel itself is clean and staff are helpful. While there is a good selection and choice of food for breakfast (bacon, eggs, cereal, cheese, fruit, bread, pastries), I found the food functional rather than enjoyable. I did not eat dinner at the hotel so cannot comment on that. There is a nice quite swimming area at the hotel (not a beach) although twice we had to request sun beds as not enough were put out in the mornings.There are changing areas and showers at the swimming area also.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was grt. The breakfast was fantastic we realy enjoyed it. The Hotel is scrupulously clean. And the owner was kindness itself. We would like to go back, unfortunately the roads put us off.Also the 144 steps down to the front were bad for my husband as he is on sticks. Still we made it and enjoyed it. Carol and Alan Riddoch..

diana dobrasin was a lovely hostess ,cheerful ,helpful,- gave us a bottle homemade wine on arrival+departure,also some of her daughters homemade birthday cakes - we stayed in apartment 3 with balcony with sea+mountain views ,sat tv, double bed ,plenty wardrobe+cupboard space .the kitchen had fridge freezer,2 ring hob, all cutlery,kettle,toaster although we did not eat in - iron+board also - free internet acess in hallway .the apts are on a steep hill so youve got to be mobile(15 mims) but the views when walking down to cavtat are beautiful.- this is a great place to use as a centre ,bus to dubrovnic 17 kn (L2.30) every hr - their season starts may-sept

The villas are pretty modern, spotless and the top floor options have unbelievable views. The owner is really friendly and although communication is a little difficult. Good value.

We expected a good experience - the reality was far better.The self-catering apartment was excellent in all respects.The sea view was marvellous. Ana herself was kindness itself - I just wish I could speak German better so as to convey my thanks more appropriately !

The staff were outstanding and provided a wonderful and friendly service. The hotel often has people staying for one or two nights so you don’t relly get to meet your fellow guests for long. (we stayed 11 nights and were the exception at this time of year). If you want a small hotel with excellent service as a base for a restful and relaxing stay I would heartily recommend the Castelletto.

Castelletto is in a good position for the village of Cavtat on theDubrovnik coast and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Weonly stayed one night but the room was very comfortable with goodensuite facilities. We were given a tray with tea-making facilities onarrival. Good value.
