Loved staying at the Royal Bay Hotel, best part is that you can useall the other hotel/pool bars on the resort. Rooms are of a very goodsize and cleaned very well everyday. Staff are great and the wholestay was superb. We stayed at the Royal Bay for 2 weeks (booked as apackage holiday) and booked through booking, com for 1 night due tolate checkout. Much better value than booking a late checkout throughthe hotel.

The resort is very clean, however the hotel is showing signs of its age. The staff apart from one on the reception were showing the signs of a long season and were not the most helpfull! The food is poor against other hotels in the area. There were many English people staying who were not happy. This hotel is not a reflection of others in the region. Bulgaria is a great country but if this is your first stay in Bulgaria I am afraid you will not want to come agian...Great shame!!! Please do not judge Bulgaria on this hotel! If we were from Enland we would be very angry with our tour company! Great position, good overall resort but the food very very poor!

The sea view is the best. We had sea view many other times, but this time we were right over the sea and we could watch ships, sea planes, rainbows, everything. The hotel is clean and has hard-working and friendly staff. Also, being part of a closed complex of hotels, it is nice there are no cars in the complex (except the electric buggies that carry you and you luggage when you check in and out), therefore no noise or alarms going off in the middle of the night, no pollution and great safety for children. The beach is very clean, with a rocky strip when you enter the sea, but do not avoid the wooden steps in front of the hotel: they are the safest way to enter the sea.
