Fabulous experience. First time live in a chateau like(or real chateau) hotel, the atmosphere was so romantic! The hotel itself is a view already, and it located at the hill of a big natural park, you can see the whole Namur city in just one glimpse, down to the coffeeterria, we enjoy a lovely afternoon.

The unexpectedly good meals, due to the hotel having the students from Namur’s hotel training college practising their excellent chef and service skills there. The hotel also has a fabulous commanding position on a high promontory overlooking the town and the confluence of the rivers Sambre and Meuse. Their beautiful scented gardens will be splendid in the summer months also, with plenty of walks through parkland to build up an appetite for a gourmet dinner in the charming dining room.

Le Chateau de Namur is a beautiful Chateau overlooking the city of Namur. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was adequate for the price, and the breakfast good with fresh squeezed orange juice. The location was wondeful because it’s close enough to walk down through the Citadel until the old town of Namur, but up, up, away form it all. We had a great little getaway!!.
