Stayed here last year as the hotel is in a great location and is a stylish hotel with parking outside the front and a great seating area to enjoy a drink and people watch. Great breakfast with a wide choice to select from. The restaurant which we didn't eat in is stunning in design and atmosphere. If you/re looking for a stylish hotel in a great location at a good price, this is it.

We were surprised at how huge the room was. We had 3 in the room; could easily fit a family of four. The bathroom was very large as well. The location is great; easy trip from Brussels International Airport, as well as the train stations, bus stops and a short walk to the Grand Place. The hotel is really lovely to look at. The room was lovely as well --beds were very comfortable! Added plus -- loved that the hotel provided some free beer, water and Coke in the refrig! We would stay there again!.

I stayed at the hotel Metropole with my 11-year-old son on our trip ofexploring the central Europe. The hotel had distinct historic andclassical ambiance that was topped by modern renovations of roomfacilities in style of the era. The location and approximation to thehistoric center of Brussels makes the stay ideal for walking trips bothto the shopping and old town areas. The staff was very helpful andwelcoming. Overall, we wished to stay longer.

It is a simple hotel where you just put your stuff and return for yoursleep and shower. If you are not picky it serves righteven for holiday base camp, however you don’t want to spend a lot oftime inside.

As a business woman travelling alone I found this hotel safe, welcoming, very clean, modern and airy. I usually stay in hotels with 4 or 5 stars, but I felt very comfortable here. Of course the hotel is simple and does not offer plush surrounding, however, its very pleasant and the breakfat, was a good surprise: fresh and delcious bread and pastries, freshly bruwed coffee and juice, just what I needed. The staff was what really won me over: very friendly and professional, always ready to help.

I think that some of the negative reviews for this hotel are greatlyexaggerated. The hotel offers cheap accommodation in a great location -around the corner from the Grand Place, a stone’s throw from the GareCentrale making it the ideal base for exploring the city both day andnight. Roomscleaned daily. Hotel decor resembles a museum, is really amazing - youmay like it or not, but it certainly makes this pl.

I only paid L60 for one night in an apartment room, and it was the bestvalue for money I’ve ever had at a hotel. Our apartment was spacious, had a well equipped kitchen, and a very nice modern bathroom. My partnerand I wish we could have stayed longer to make better use of the littlekitchen (which, when you realise how pricey eating out in Brussels is,would have made our stay in Belgium considerably cheaper!) It is veryclose to the eurostar terminal with its grocery stores in case youwanted to stock up your fridge during your stay!.

It’s a very nice hotel just few minutes away from the center of Brussels and very close to the Midi Station. The apartment is quite big (I suppose it’s around 50-60m2) and good decorated. WiFi works just fine everywhere in the hotel. Great accommodation for the price I paid!.
Dong  — 4.7.2010
This hotel is very closed to the Brussels Midi train station(walking distance), which is very convenient for us since we took trains to come and leave Brussels at Midi station. We were told being upgraded to an apartment from a double room with the same price, it gave more space and facilities, we didn’t ask the actual rate for such an apartment but think it would be a good choice for a family if the rate is not too high. Internet is free.

I liked the kitchen that was fully equipped, the location of thehotel, and mostly the value for money. While our check-in they did not explain to us that housekeeping was to be paid alone and was not a free service and just onmondays, in between if you need one you have to pour your eurosfeeding them. I am still annoyed with their treat to us. Next time Ido not plan to stay at their hotel, I will find another hotel even ifI had to pay more, most important thing for a tourist is comfort atfirst.

The place is situated at a very convenient and quietlocation, 3-4 blocks away of the Montgomery metro station,on aneighbourhood surrounded by embassies and consulates. Isabelle, theowner. Is the most gratious hostess, sporting a very laid back attitude. We felt as guests in her house, but we had 100% hotel-like independance.I was worried at first, because sometimes b&b owners are a littlenosey/chatty, but that wasn't the case here, at all. The house isgorgeous. Neighbourhood is very safe and well connected. Breakfast wasexcelent, felt like home, with good quality ingredients and wonderfulnatural lighting in the kitchen. Kitchen was available at all times, perfect for a late night snack. We got the Jaques room, at the top(attic) which was very comfortable, and again, had great naturallighting. I appreciate that Hostel Louise has work in progress and may well have in hand matters listed below BUT others (first) relate to present behaviour and can be improved.A (small but important matters)1. Identification of staff: I didn't learn the names of any of the staff - mainly because I didn't ask! - but why not have an identifying name (not necessarily their real name) displayed - on front desk if not on person.
