The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent and the location was ideal. The hotel was very clean, friendly staff and great food.

Staff very friendly and helpful and the room exceeded expectations in terms of size. It was a family suite with a good size living diner and three bedrooms, as well as a bathroom, for 105 euros a night.

On arrival i was advised the family suite was not available-double booked- although i booked 10th January! so I was given two doubles instead. For a 2* accomodation it was very comfortable and clean, ideal for a short break. There is not a lot to do in Bornem but with the train station lest than 5 five minutes away you could explore. As this was not really a holiday for me the location was p.

The location of this hotel is the best possible as it is close to all the atractions of the old town of Brussels. Good for shopping and sight seeing. Reception was helpfull in many things but the staff in the hotel inn could be nicer. The place is clean and not expensive in comparison with the other hotels around.

It’s position makes it ideal for a holiday spent sightseeing in andaround Brussels. It is also close to the Central Brusselsrailway and metro station. Our room, though small, contained everythingwe needed, and, being at the back of the hotel, was quiet. The staffwere always pleasant and helpful.

I liked the location of the hotel as it is close to the Brussels midistation and the most pleasant was the proximity of the hotel to theGrand d’Palace. There are many halal eateries around the hotel andsouvenir shops close to the hotel open as early as 7 am.

The Hotel Saint Nicolas is well located in the centre of Brussels, adjacent to the Boulevard Anspach, affording easy access to the city’s main tourist attractions as well as Brussels Central Train Station.

Not a lot really. We are an exhibition company and found this hotel on the internet, it looked really nice and had good reviews. When our men got there, there were sleeping bags on the beds!!! The rooms were we stayed you could hear a lot of boom boom boom from the nightclub below and we changed rooms. The only good thing about this hotel was it was close to amenities.

The bathroom was the nicest bathroom we had seen within all 4 hotels westayed at in Europe (Paris, London, Edinburgh, Brussels). The staff wasextremely friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and had afridge. Great hotel, would definitely stay here again and recommend itfor anyone else! Great location as well!.

Being one of the cheapest hotels in the central Brussels, it is a brilliant value for money compared to virtually any other hotel around. The location is absolutely brilliant - literally 3 minutes on foot from the central train station, and some 10 minutes from Grand-Place! And you don’t wanna know how much Le Meridian right next door is charging for the night! The hotel does have 4 stars though it feels like they earned it back in 1970s and nothing has changed since. There is free wi-fi but like in many places, connection speeds and realiability are not very impressive.

The hotel is at a quiet place , good place if you have a car,good transportation nearby. The hotel stuff is polite and helpfull. Despite the name, the hotel is not new, but is clean and confortable. We got the room on offer but the normal rooom price is very high for this hotel.

Good location to the European institutions (particularly Berlaymont and Charlemagne); these are only a few minutes walk away. During the weekdays Mon - Thur, all hotels in this area charge the higher business rates, including this hotel, but at weekends the rate drops and since the hotels are near the Schuman Metro stop, one can be in Brussels centre (Grand Place) in 20 minutes or so. There are cafes, express supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, parks, etc. very near the hotel too.

Brussels hotels are unfortunately quite expensive; this hotel would be arip-off in many cities but I gather in Brussels it’s a case of "you getwhat you pay for". If you’re visiting Brussels and on a budget, at leastit’s quite close to the Brussels Noord Train Station. The front deskstaff were pleasant enough, and you can get served in a number oflanguages.

I liked the impressive interior design of the hotel which was built in 1906 and maintained very well. The location was great for my business trip, hotel was very near to EC Covent Garden, Rogier metro station, very close to City2 Shopping Mall and some good restaurants were very close. The breakfast included in the hotel rate, great value for the money, there is free internet in the lobby. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk to Brussels Nord train station, so very convenient to get there from the airport.

It is a relaxed and easygoing hotel compared to most other Brussels hotels I have visited. The staff was friendly, and their services better than expected for two stars hotels: included an old stationary PC with internet even. Cleaners and receptionists are not pushy like in most better hotels. The bistro pub next door is excellent - offers good omelettes from 11 o’clock (if you missed the hotel breakfast).

This hotel is located in about 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord, which was quite comfortable for me, as I planned to visit some other Belgian cities. There is some kind of Turkish (or Arabian?) district around the hotel, but the area itself is very calm and doesn’t seem to be dangerous. There are many good eating places around the hotel which are open until midnight. The hotel personnel was really friendly and spoke very good English.

We stayed in the double room. In general the impression of thehotel was very nice. Theparking in Brussels is incredibly expensive, so we were very glad to beable to park our car in the garage of the hotel, it costed 10 euro, atleast 2 times less than in the city. Keep in my min.
