We booked this hotel as we wanted to stay in Bastogne to visit the ww2battlefields and monuments. The hotel is in an excellent location beinga 5 minute walk from Bastogne town centre. The rooms are comfortable,very clean and have all the facilities you could want/need for a 3 nightstay such as ours - television, mini bar, tea and coffee etc. Theprivate, off road parking was also a bonus as we could leave our carthere in the evening and walk into the town without worrying!.

Our family room was quite roomy, much more than most we’ve found inEurope. The beds were very comfortable and much appreciated after a longday of walking the battlefields around Bastogne. And the staff at Hotel Melbawas quite pleasant and helpful. We would certainly recommend this hotelfor a comfortable yet affordable stay.

Our family room was quite roomy, much more than most we’ve found inEurope. The beds were very comfortable and much appreciated after a longday of walking the battlefields around Bastogne. And the staff at Hotel Melbawas quite pleasant and helpful. We would certainly recommend this hotelfor a comfortable yet affordable stay.

Stayed in annexe to main hotel, but it was clean - spacious rooms - excellent buffet breakfast - staff friendly. Hotels own restaurants were both very good with helpful staff and excellent food, although only one had a menu in English - everything was in French. Central location, but only good if using the hotel as a base to expolore the area.

A good base for exploring the Ardennes and this area of Belgium. The hotel was comfortable and the facilities of a high standard. The sister restaurant of the hotel was first class and even on a midweek evening was packed with locals - I’m glad we booked.

The location is quite good, less than a ten minute walk from the main square. The hotel is very modern and comfortable (air conditioned!). The bathroom was quite nice, with a rainfall shower and wand rendered in a modern design. Its co-location with a convenience store made a late night dinner (did not feel like walking after a late check-in) easy with cold cuts and the small baked good/bakery selection. The wired internet was very fast and easy to use. Parking was covered and right in front of the hotel, proving to be rather secure with the constant staffing of the complex.

This is an excellent hotel with incredible value. Very modern with allthe comforts of an upscale spa. We loved the bathroom and theconvenience store as part of the hotel. We were able to buy some cheese,salads, drinks and bread and enjoyed a picnic along the countryside. Wealso enjoyed being within walking distance of the town square and thefree convenient parking. Kevin at the front desk was terrific eventhough his English was much better than our French. This was the bestvalue hotel during our entire European vacation.

Easy access and parking. Part of a shop/petrol station complex. A lot of street noise outside but good soundproofing inside the rooms.Beds comfortable, bathroom has all it needs.Efficient and silent airco. Little fridge and safe box in room. Breakfast served in shop downstairs as early as 6 am is a definite plus for business travelers, but location near Bastogne city center (5 min walking) makes it just fine for leisure visitors as well.
