This is a family owned hotel almost like any other hotel in this small charming town. I came in the low season so I enjoyed a lot of attention and care from the owners.

Indeed the owners of the hotel make the difference. We also had lunch there and the restaurant is quite good. The hotel is located inside St. Gilgen and is 2 min from the lake.

We liked the warm welcome from the proprietors and the friendly atmosphere in the hotel. Dinner is plentiful and really tasty, with a good choice. The rooms are homely with everythng you need - the beds are comfortable. We have loved this hotel for many years and always look forward to our visit there as it is wonderful and we will return.

The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The location isexcellent, with wonderful views and scenery. St. Gilgen is alovely village.

We loved the hotel - very clean, the staff was helpful and polite. Ourroom was wonderful with the balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The breakfast was amazing - we like everything about your hotel.

Great view from room! Dinner at hotel also nice with set menu which was 18 euro per person per night for 3 course dinner because we booked it for whole of our stay (4 nights). Indoor swimming pool was also nice. Location of hotel was really nice to access to each of key area in Salzkammergut. Overall, this hotel was very cozy and relax atmosphere for us.

Proprietors are friendly and very good hosts, offering excellent advice on attractions and restaurants, checking always on the suitability of accommodations. It was a real pleasure to stay with them. Location is excellent. Room was very comfortable.

The hotel was in a the centre of the village of St Gilgen, but it wasvery peaceful and quiet. As a family run hotel it was immaculate with ahigh degree of comfort. The breakfast was of a good quality. We enjoyedour stay in this beautiful traditional Austrian village.

The staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful. They assisted us ineverything we needed, as we were travelling with a little baby. The roomwas very clean and comfortable and the bathroom too. Everything wasabove expected, even the tasteful food (specially the fish)!.

This Hotel gives the visitor exactly the right choices--to relax and orexperience the natural beauty and tranquility of the region. The rooms were spacious, and although the hotel is hundreds of years old the refirbishment is so tastfully down to bring the past into the present. The owners and whole family gave wonderful service, also the cuisine was a delight at all times.

Everything. The hoteldecorated in a clever and tasteful mix of traditional and modern. The best breakfast I had in a fortnight of Austrian breakfasts. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

A lovely small family run hotel with a personal and 'homely' feel to it-we are looking forward to returning again and will recommend it to ourfamily and friends! The rooms are very good and the hotel is very welllocated in a quiet side road very close to the village centre, thelakeside and the Zwolferhorne Gondala Lift -all feel as if they are justaround the corner-an excellent base for relaxing, touring or walkingwith easy access to the half hourly boats along Wolfgangsee givingaccess to several of its little lakeside villages and beaches.

The Hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to the lake and most amenities St. Gilgen has to offer and despite this close proximity to to city center remains a quiet establishment. The breakfast is opulent and well worth it.

Excellent hotel at this level. Kind and friendly staff, great location,clean and well equiped room. It is run by family, all very nice but withrespect to privacy of guests. It is situated directly in the city centerand near lake. There is free parking place available. Guests can buylocal bio products in hotel's shop.
