It is a romantic, quiet, warm and friendly hotel. The hotel is well situated, not far from the train station in nice neighbourhood. The room was lovely and tastefully decorated like the rest of the hotel. I stayed for 3 nights and wish I could have stayed there longer.

This was the best experience I have had in a long time at a hotel. The service was personal, friendly and very helpful. North American hotels would do well to look at the nature of the service afforded patrons at Hotel Hohenstauffen. I fell in love with Strazberg and very much wish to return - I will certainly seek out this hotel again.

Close to train station but also easy walk along the river into Salzburg old town. Breakfast was good, usual choice, nicely presented and always replenished. Items looked fresh and not stale. Will go back anytime I need a hotel in Salzburg.

It was a good, clean, pretty room for a reasonable price, with polite staff who all spoke English and were eager to help. It was close enough to the Old City, the theater (we went to the opera), and the museums so that we didn’t have to bother with buses or taxis. It was nice and quiet. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is a nice, clean, pleasant place to stay while enjoying Salzburg.

The rooms are very new and modern. It was very hard for us to find a hotel with parking and while there were only a few at the hotel there is a public parking area nearby. We walked into town in about 15 mins past the mirabell gardens so while it’s further than the hotel makes it sound it wasn’t a problem. There is a number of restaurants near by.

The hotel is convenient and well situated to walk into the centre of Salzburg. It was clean and did the job for the two nights we stayed. The staff were friendly and very polite.

The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and has a very good ambiance. Medhat Abou Saima at Reception has been most helpful and made our stayquite comfortable and you cannot fault the service - it has beenexcellent! We’ve also met the owner, Josef Klingler and he hasfascinating stories on how the place came about - he’s met all theguests at breakfast and made us all feel very welcome. The decor iswonderful and made the look of the hotel unique, very modern and yet youwill feel at home. Our stay at this place is very memorable and I’m sureall the guests who stayed in Hotel am Dom will agree.

The hotel is lovely - perfect central location in a romantic littlestreet, The girl at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. Thehotel interious is stunning and unusual, with a transparent toilet and abath right in the room with a big picture of Mozart above it. The directions on their web-site in English about the locationof the parking were very clear, so the parking was easy to find for us,we then got a 3 Euro discount for the parking from the hotel. Excellenthotel, would love to come back.

My wife and I stayed recently at the Hotel am Dom with our 3yo daughter. The staff was friendly, the room was wonderful, and the hotel building was in an amazing location. When we return to Salzburg we will be staying at the Hotel am Dom again. Thank you to the staff & Josef for everything!.
