The hotel was fabulous, and the staff were super friendly. However, as an American traveling through Europe for an extended period of time, the breakfast was the best I have seen. It was perfect. Fruit, eggs, bacon (crispy!), and everything in between.

Big rooms. The hotel also provided a shuttle bus service every 30 min in the mornings if waling is not desired. The hotel is spacious and well decorated.

Had a great vacation, the hotel is family-run, the staff was very friendly/helpful, and the food was excellent! Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay. Great location to city center, dog friendly, and the views from the hotel are breathtaking!! We can’t wait to return!.

Well located within St Anton, close to ski facilities and shopping area. The hotel has family charm, appropriate spa facilities, big enough and clean rooms. Breakfast and dinners have good quality with enough to chose from.

Well located within St Anton, close to ski facilities and shopping area. The hotel has family charm, appropriate spa facilities, big enough and clean rooms. Breakfast and dinners have good quality with enough to chose from.

Clean, efficiently run hotel. Nice wellness centre, including indoor pool. 3 minute walk into the village, 5 minute walk to the main gondola - far enough away from the town centre noise at night! Nice breakfast buffet. Covenient onsite parking. Helpful and friendly staff. Overall a great hotel for a ski break!

Nice new modern design hotel in a central location - just few steps from busy main pedestrian zone but still very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. Spa area is clean and functional but small and can be crowded when skiing is over. Plenty of restaurants to choose from within 5 min walk.

In 40 years of extensive European traveling, this has to be one of the4-5 top finds for a hotel! The hotel is only two years old andwonderfully blends modern and traditional Tyrolean architecture. Thedetails and amenities in the rather larger room [including free Wi-Fiin the room] were worthy of a 5 star hotel. The fixed price menu wasabsolutely wonderful in the restaurant [the owner is the chef] and thecost was 1/4 to 1/5 of a high price 4-5 star hotel. Unbelievable! Thehotel is a 15 minute walk to downtown St. Anton [and 500-600'downhill] but it also makes for a quiet hotel with good views of thesurrounding mountains. We will make this a stop everytinme we travelthrough Austria.

We had a wonderful week in Der Waldhof. Its peaceful location, thefacilities, Michael's excellent 4-course dinners, the very friendly,attentive and helpful staff (particularly the owners Andrea andMichael), comfortable and spacious rooms all contributed to a reallylovely holiday. We went in August and there are many fantastic mountainwalks close-by (mountain-biking is also a popular summer activity). Wewould highly recommend this hotel and would very much like to returnsometime in the future.

Overlooking St.Anton, new mid-size hotel, quite neighbourhood, oversized rooms, radiant heat (geo-thermal powered), ample parking space; but most importantly: super service to make you feel right at home and exquisite cuisine, .........................simply outstanding.

We were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived and the quality of hospitality and service was excellent throughout. The wellness area was small but nicely appointed. However, a hot tub would be a nice addition after a day on the ski slopes. Our suite had an open fireplace which we enjoyed on our last night. I would definitely recommend the Himmelhof to anyone looking for a weekend in a hotel with alpin charm and friendly service.

The hotel was beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was second to none. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Overall it is a very warm and welcoming hotel. It is however a quiet hotel compared to some of the other livelier places in St Anton so it depends what kind of holiday you are after. For us it was a welcome retreat and I would stay there again.

Fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from the village centre. Views ofthe Alps from the balcony. The owners are very friendly and helpful, theaccommodation is very clean and spacious. Superb value for money. Wewould stay again.

The apartment #6 (4-person) was on the top floor and had beautiful views of the mountains. The unit was exquisitely constructed and was finished beautifully. The owner kept fresh alpine flowers in the stairwell hall windows. It was supplied with dishes, glasses, silverware and appliances. Susanne, the hostess, was extremely accomodating and greeted us at the door within 30 seconds of our arrival by taxi. In a few words: high quality, clean, mountainside walking location, good public transport, very nice ownership.

What's not to like? Made an overnight summer stop enroute from Germany to Switzerland and we were very impressed by the spacious accommodations, kitchen and separate sleeping quarters for the family. It's up a hill so a car helps. Nearby grocery for both dinner and breakfast made in the room. Friendly owner, well organized. Would love to come back for skiing one of these days. BYO soap and shampoo, however!

The apartment was spotless, new, and very well appointed. The owner was very helpful with our questions and tried very hard to make our stay enjoyable, and was quick to answer questions and take care of any items that we needed. The area is high up in the Austrian Alps, very quiet and peaceful. Many restaurants are near to the apartments and everyone we encountered was helpful and pleasant.

Great little hotel with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Everything in the hotel is new and clean. Our room had a balcony with mountain views. A 2 minute walk down to the ski bus stop and less than a 5 minute ride to ski lifts. Several restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

It was set in a quiet area just outside St. Anton. Very close to the bus stop and some restaurants. Very friendly family run hotel with a great breakfast included.
