The hotel was superb on every level. The Spa was excellent - accessible and welcoming in a way which many hotel spas are not. The location is ideal - 15 minutes from central Salzburg, but also providing easy access to the mountains. All in all a really top class hotel amd worth its price.

Our family is made of 2 adults and 2 daughters. We were given a smallapartment with 2 rooms and bathroom. Rooms were at same level as ownerapartment and we could share the same big terrace, with no separatedarea for our room. Hotel is few minutes from Salzburg city center, whichcan also reached by bus (even though we had our own car).

Hotel room was excellent, large amount of space with comfortable sofa,chairs and coffee table plus a large balcony with outdoor seating andtable. A restaurant was attached to the hotel, making a convenient placeto eat without driving further afield. Staff were obliging and helpful.Altogether a good hotel with good facilities.

Very well run and organized. Hotel staff was exceptional in taking care of us, setting up trips, and making recommendations on activities and tours. The room was large, fantastic balconies, wonderful bathroom and first class breakfast. Location was just 5-10 min from the city center and was in a relaxed and quite village. A wonderful experience, a bit more expensive than other hotels, but worth every bit. Very meticulous in every detail in the hotel in decorations and occomodations.The bathroom is super clean, shower tiles and shine, even as we and the morning after our breakfast in the room put a clean towel for another swim before our continuing travel.Room are large and spacious, and more importantly it neat and clean.The hotel is the service for pedestrians and cyclists passing through woods and meadows ... really beautiful place for rest and recreation.Next time bring the family for a few days.All recommendations for this hotel.

A wonderful hotel, great location. All staff were very friendly and polite and bar staff in particular were very good. We found the prices high, but then we were at a 5* hotel and accepted that.

The rooms were very spacious and nice, with a great view on the city park. We asked for extra bed and everything was prepared for us. The location of the hotel is perfect. One of the best hotels I ever been to.

Access to main train station was important to us and the hotel was a 3-4minute walk from the station. The staff were very friendly and offeredgood advice on local must see sites and restaurants. Tours/transport canbe booked at the hotel at slightly cheaper prices although we decided towalk into the town centre which took about 30 minutes at a slow pace.

I can’t say enough positive things about Hotel Der Salzburger Hof. When we checked-in and went to our rooms, one of the rooms had a very thick smell of cigarette smoke, which was unacceptable for us. The hotel staff was incredibly accomodating and helpful about this and we received a new, clean, non-smoking room immediately. The breakfast was also excellent, and the hotel staff were very friendly and gave us great tips.

Their breakfast was very good and the bathroom was also better than many other hotels. My main reason to select Hotel Der Salzburger Hof was the availability of a 4 person family room and central location.

The hotel location - was well located to serve both the new and old sections of Salzburg by foot. The hotel was located in a safe area. Free wireless internet. Breakfast had a wide variety of selections to choose from.

The hotel is very modern with good room and bathroom size. You need to walk 200 meters under a tunnel and you were in the oldcity. The hotel has free internet via wi-fi. The hotel has parking but itis very expensive.

You feel very much at ease at the Hotel - they are always friendly and very welcoming ! It is easy to get to downtown - short walk or catch a bus in front of the hotel. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and will always will consider them in my future travel plans to Salzburg, The Suite is nice because you have a refrigerator and small stove top and a microwave - and a nice sized patio outside - I was on the 4th Floor - facing the mountain - very relaxing there.

Rooms are large and spacious. Hotel staff was veryhelpful. We arrived very late at night and called them asking fordirections to hotel. Hotel location is excellent; within walking distanceof Salzburg Hbf.

It is probably the cleanest hotel room in which we’ve stayed. The hotel was recently renovated and everything was spotlessly clean. When I asked the man if the scrambled egg contained milk, he said yes, but he offered to make a new batch of scrambled egg without milk just for me. The hotel is not in the inner city, but is very close from a bus stop that will take you to Hauptbahnhof (3 short stops) and inner city and almost right in front.

It was a nice stay, at Hotel Guter Hirte. The person at the Reception was also very helpful and cordial. Specially the hotel is very cozy and comfortable. I can recommend the hotel to every one.
