For the price it was excellent value for money. We were even upgraded to a south facing balcony apartment. The views we're amazing! Has a nice indoor pool. Would certainly return.

The pool/spa/therapy/sauna/tanning area was absolutely gorgeous.I own numerous timeshares in North America, and have been travelling a lot in the past ten years, and I can highly recommend this hotel. Our studio was impressive with a clean Kitchen, Bathroom, eating area and bedroom with plenty of closet space. The balcony was facing south and the view of the mountains and the surrounding area was fantastic and serene. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the common area of the hotel was huge and cosy. Everything was spotless and well maintained, including the large pool area. The hotel itself had no noise levels travelling through the halls or walls. I can only recommend the Alpenrose.

Our superior two-bedroom apartments in the Alpenrose building wereperfect for our family. We had a good sized refrigerator, a stove, and acoffee maker. The kitchen had everything we needed (except dish soap).The private balcony had a lovely view of the town and the mountains. Thehotel is near many trails and is within easy walking distance of agrocery and excellent restaurants. The beds were comfortable, and we hadwonderful, deep bathtubs in the bathrooms.The biggest and best surprisewas the very nice pool and spa downstairs. The water was fine (even oncold July days) and the spa was extremely relaxing and had niceattention to detail. Claudia was extremely friendly and went out of herway to help us. We can't wait to go back in winter for some skiing!

Unbelievable location on an unpaved track right in the middle of the mountains, very quaint and unpretentious. The rooms were well priced and facilities adequate. The evening meals were well priced and most definately home made and delicious, the breakfast was a little overpriced however (for 8 bikers on a biking trip anyway). Overall for a little bit of 'back to nature' well recommended and I am sure you would struggle to find a more natural and remote position (all the vehicles outside had keys in the ignitions !). Quite an experience...

Very warm welcome from staff. Beautiful setting. We were unable to get ahotel booking around Fussen in Germany so popped over the border intoAustria and drove back to Germany (approx 30 minutes) to visitNeuchwanstein & other sites. Turned out extremely well. Would recommendothers do the same.

Gästehaus Zugspitzblick was a great place. We only stayed one night sowe did not explore the surroundings. The room was nice and roomy (we hada family room with a separate bedroom for the kids and a large balcony)The people running the Gästhaus were extremely friendly and willing tomake our stay as comfortable as possible. We have kids that aredifficult eaters and even though it wasn't on the menu they made thekids pancakes just to make the kids happy. Breakfast was a pretty normalbreakfast but more than enough and of good quality. In the restaurantthere was a playroom for the kids that our kids didn't really usebecause they still were very sad because the rolled down a hill that isin front of the Hotel. The hotel definitely is on my list to go to againthe next time we drive to Italy.
